i updated the software online using the updater on the microsoft sync.. u know the cd it came along with.. it has fixed some errors. before it use to stall and freeze then would reboot automatically and now that issue stopped!! i'm really satisfied! but i was told it's not a good thing to do! i don't know what to believe now.

Great phone, love it. The OS is definately suited to business. Anyone know how to get the version of S60v3 used in N95, N73? Side buttons are really bad quality, one guy I know has to put a key into top to turn his on! Great! I'm looking at a 5730 xpressMusic, or something completely different, an LG KS360!

Mohan, 08 Sep 2009My E51 battery is not lasting more than one day. please adv... morehi bro try this it may solve ur proplem just empty the battery untill the phone cant power on then recharge the battery for at least 2 hours while the phone is turned off then its gonna be okay.
i tried it in many phones and it was helpful.

my 8GB memory card is scandisk hc memory card.
Looking @ all the posts there everyone seem to crying about the power and volume buttons i have no probs with mine either im having no probs with my phone @ all & its 6mths now i had a N82 before this but nothing but bother with it

i am using this mobile i am very happy say that because i just look upon the net speed.moderm connectivity,and also sym60.the function is pefctily work on this mobile......so i am happy say the nokia is most trusted brand in the world

The two MOST spoke about things about the E51 is the rubber buttons and whether it supports 8GB memory cards.
Well I have NO PROBLEM with my rubber buttons. They work easily. I don't have to press them hard like many people complain about and I use a 8GB Transcend Class 6 memory card and it runs fast. It's so fast it seems as if there's no memory card in the phone.

My mobile is Nokia 51. three or 4 ke... moreget the cover changed or go to local market who can help,,i dont think you need to buy new fone its your buttons have stuck due to moisture or ware and tare..new covers or faceplates cost about 7 GBP so thats all you need ,,you tube may have a video on how to replace e51 covers,,but if e51 is in warranty they should repair free..ITs not all doom and gloom.

I have this phone since 1yr. my experiences-
1.Build quality-very good, weight nice to hold
2. display very good 3. keys-very convenient with one touch for frequent apps 4. side rubber buttons for volume, voice dialling r problematic. very hard to press
5. Signal reception & call clarity- excellent 6. features-excellent. 7-multimidea- I found it good but I dont use music much. 8-Battery- very decent for a smartphone-mine 3 days with minimal use. 8.Software-very good and fast, no lags or hangs (I had a problem of left softkey which by default is assigned to menu made it hang again and again-its a bug. all u have to do is to change the left softkey function to something else like e mail.9. Camera-ok. enough for me. Good number of themes and 3rd party apps available for this.
All in all a very good phone for me.

I am using this phone from past 1 year and i have not experienced any major problem. And it's value for money.
However, i have only 3 setbacks with the phone #1. side buttons are awfully bad quality. They just wither out. #2. I am not satisfied with Camera, photo taken during night time is horrible. My ealier phone had 1.3Mp and the photo Quality was much better. #3 Speaker is not loud enough.
And it takes some time to get adjusted with the keys.

I need ur urgent help. My mobile is Nokia 51. three or 4 keys are reuined. They do not function or just keep working. I need an IU. The problem is that I can't transfere my contacts data because one of the keys is related to this and is not working. I tried to syncronize through a wire with the laptop, but I don't have an outlook. I did a backup, but a freind told me that I have to buy anothet Nokia 51 to transfere this data to it, if the currnet one is reuined completley. What can I do?

I think it's safe to say the Nokia E51 can be considered as near to perfect as a phone can get.
