side butonns which is made of rubber just pops off. all buttons.. thats bad make.. else for its good i suppose..

In the Nokia Site the specifications refered to "Memory Functions" indicates that's expandable up to 4 GB MicroSD memory... Not 8 GB...

My friend the choice is yours whether you want to update or not. You may not be affected like I am. It's a 50-50 chance.
It's best to use the original battery that came with the phone as unauthorised batteries can cause damaging of the phone and even worse may explode in your face. Scary but true.
There was a report some years ago about Nokia phones exploding and in their defence Nokia said the problem was people using unauthourised batteries in their Nokia phones just because they wanted more battery life.
How long since you have been using this battery you got from EBAY ?

i got my extended battery on ebay it has no name on it bt the sticker on the phone is orange and white and its a chinese writing.

Maybe you should try to format the phone and the card,and then re-install the firmware...
Now I don't have any complain of this phone,symbian is fast and reliable and with lots of stuff to install,construction is good,call quality is now good,battery is good...but E52 comes with everything e51 misses...

i bought this phone a mounth ago. Don`t do the same ... moreyour phone must be faulty just like mine was...the sound was low low low..It went to nokia care centre 3 times,and at the third it came good..I think it was the speaker..now the quality is awesome.
About batteries,I think none is best than the original BP-6MT.

One thing I don't like with the new firmware 400.34.011 is that sometimes when there's an incoming call pressing the answer key causes the phone to freeze and you either have to take out the battery or wait for about 5 mins. when the phone automatically resets. That's NOT good for any form of business!

E51 is very bad at music WITH the earplugs. without it`s ok...
if u want a music phone go for xpress music,N series, ipod, or samsung.
