And about battery life i get 3 days outa my battery and that my msn on full time but i have extended battery 1450mah. and i have ION Battery timer that tells me my bateery time and last recharge. really worth downloading.

I have no probs with my phone and my phone memory is full with apps, pics and games and i have a 8gb memory card in it and im using 6gb off it so far and it hasnt slowed down or lcd ficking and mine is loud enough but the e series isnt made for music "V" if you want music get a EXPRESS MUSIC phone.

i bought this phone a mounth ago. Don`t do the same mistake as i did. do not buy it . why?
1:sound quality: very very very bad. Don`t thik about using a hands-free.. it is too much noise. Music sucks. There is always this buzzing on the background so you have to use it at maximum volume. The buzzing is also present in conversations.
2. Screen quality: v.v.v.vv. bad. It flickers! and the color is uneven. in the corners it`s blacker...,yet, sunny conditions it is ok.
3.Symbian! I hate Symbian. This is my first, and my last, Symbian phone. Nokia stop using Symbian!
the file mnanager is just...wow!where is it??!??
4.Battery life. Don`t expect too much..
the only good things are the wlan and the steel case...
i regret that i bought it

The E51 is a solid treasure. Real value for money. Vast amount of featues with high speed navigation and data access.

Has anyone tried connecting an external bluetooth keyboard to the phone? I.e. other than the Nokia keyboard.

The best phone with reasonable price have every options that needed for business man,good for voip,only problem i've found that not a qwerty keyboard.

I have had this phone well over a year. It does everything I want. The camera is quite good and is much better than expected. The call quality is excellent.
Unfortunately my phone got wet and died. It was in a drawer for about a month before I decided to take it to a shop for a repair quote. The repair cost was 300 baht or less than $9.00 US. It works like new again.

Have you got clear coat on your phone or just crystal case?

Once install everytime your phone is connected and there is a firmware update available it will automatically update the mama (mobile).

I plan to upgrade from Sony Ericsson k790i to E51.
I want your advice on the same.Can I transfer the phonebook from k790i to e51?
Also how much capacity memory card does it support?

I still have my E51.
I may upgrade to the E52 this Thursday (August 27th).
I still don't like the idea that the E52 doesn't come with a dedicated CONTACTS key as this very handy allowing you to jump to your contacts no matter where you are in the menu or what app. you are running.
Of course I will keep you all posted when I upgrade but I may just keep E51 for one more year...who knows.

In reply to BS:This handset has a good battery life of up to 4 days with nominal use (8-10 small calls per day and nomial multi-media use). If you listen to music for an hour or so everyday, then you will be required to charge it on alternate days. I have been using this phone for a year and want to upgrade to E55 or E52. Alas! Both these models are not yet launched in India. Perhaps I will go with E72 or the cheaper E63(again a good battery laster) in a couple on months. But is will be a tough decision to let it go as Nokia have already stopped selling this phone (at least in India).
