there is noproblem with this,
yes i agree if u use more th an 4 hours contineously its get heated, i am sure no one will use the internet apps contineously for 4 hours]

I have heard the phone hangs/freezes a lot an... moreNope,I have the E6 for 2 months, only hang 1 time, due to F secure & Kasperky. No restarts either. Try uninstalling the anti virus if you have such problems
Heating issues?? Lol, more like heat from my palm after many hours holding the device

Nokia E6 Problems
1) the email doesnt sync with the server
2) include memo in the calendar
3) the alarms when it gets snoozed automatically or by flipping device,doesnt ring again
4)include searching music in the music player.Its time consuming flipping albums when u fill up ur 8gb
5) when ur in the now playing section of music player & when u click back its irritating to go to the album mode instead of the album tracks
6) when the display is dimmed to the lowest,the keypad light doesnt get lit at times
7) the photo application also displays videos, which is very very unwanted
8) when we press the end button while in the music player mode, the music player stops...
is it happening only to me or ???

I have issues with using the maps. As said by Nokia, we can use maps on the go offline. I've indtalled the map using my computer as instructed by Nokia. Even after that, I could not use it. When I launch the Maps application, nothing is happening.... Can someone please help me in this?

Congratullations all E-6 users.
Your warm comments make me proude as an "Nokia E-6" owner. All the user's are helping each other from bottom of their heart to ensuring optimum usage of this handy device.
I advice to use Opera Mini + Nimbuzz to stay connected. Both are available on Nokia OVI suit.
Thanks you Nokia for not lating us go to any other brand. Thank you for inviting other brand users to this Cell Phone.

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2011I have a nokia e6 .... the call log setting is for 30 days ... moreThere is an extensive log of activities on the phone. Check under LOG, and move your cursor once to the right. You will notice that all logs (gprs, wifi, voice and data) are registered. You can turn on/off each log as you may wish. Call registry is only for reading. You cannot call a number from this point.

i've really looked forward to get the nokia e6 and i've finally got it. i'm now typing this review on it. Basically everything is just fine, but I've a few things that I'm not satisfied with:
-The notification light is reallyyyyy hard to see
-The vibration is reallyyyy weak! (at first i thought it would be the same as my E63)
-when you adjust the screen brightness to the lowest, the keyboard light goes off? Wtf it doesnt happen on my E63 (i adjusted it to the lowest cause i wanted to use it in the dark, as too bright is painful for the eyes)
-The screen doesnt light up or smth when theres a msg, unlike E63 or E71 etc, thats why i dont really like nokia touch screen phones, i thought this would be an upgrade of E63, E71 and E72, but i was wrong i guess :(

I have a nokia e6 .... the call log setting is for 30 days but the calls are stored only for one day in the log register... can anyone help me on this?

I live in tropical country, it's just very minor, unless it's so hot you cant hold it.. But the back cover is slippery ya, can get out of the hands easily.
The vibrate is better after 022 software update and my friend's E71 has much better vibration.
Lol, you concerned about the basic calling stuff? That's standard man, they supposed to have that.
Email setting up- I used manual instead of the integrated thing. You can go to Nokia support forums on those stuff. Make sure you sim card has the wifi, 3G thing enabled.
Reminder : DONT install Kasperky, Mobile Security. Disabled firewall on F secure if you want to use it.
Ok, do you intend to watch videos on E6? then I'll tell you a few things. Gaming, ask rajesh.
The touchscreen + Keypad is nice to use, if your European fingers are big, then harder

Nope, it doesnt heat up. ... moreyes got it yesturday and been using it for 2-3 hours how at the bigining it was freezing all the time and then i updated the sw and now its working nice. but as you said yes it does worm up at the back of the phone where the battery is does this happen because i used wifi connection to use the internet and so? the vibrations is a bit weak but the phone is big most nokia phones this size are almost the same vabrations . i was talking on the phone aswell but i wss expecting that i could hear the person louder than it was i even had the voice on full aswell nokia e72 when someone talks to you its very loud . the fact that you can mute your micrphone when the other person is talking to you is briliant no need to cover the phone if you dont want the other person to hear you if your talking to someone else while listening to him
