A lot of people have asked about the IM/Messenger functionalities of the E61i or what programs can be downloaded for use and I aint seen a response. Could someone who has an idea please respond?
I have had the E61i since July 07 and I love it to bits. Before it I changed phones every 3-5 months, now cant seem to find a good replacement but I d love to use more functionalities.

this phone doesnt work. windoews live says i have to be in taiwan/HK/China. email refuses to connect with WLAN. Nothing is working with this phone. if you dont want to be dissappinted with this phone please dont buy it, because its email, and windows live are not working.

i just bought this phone and i'm in canada and i donloaded the windows live applicatio but it tells me that the service is available only in canada. can you guys tell me why this is happening to me because i checked the nokia websitee and it did not say that. i'm so dissaopointed wwith this phone cos it has not IM and i just wanna throw it into the bin. help me before i burst like a bubble, PLEASE

2 smart_boy:well i guess gprs is not that important factor as data connection. i use wlan for the internet purpose which is kinda fast too. but if u r into gprs and using ur mobile as a modem to ur lapi then e51 acts much more good faster than e61i...as i have tested class 32 gprs in my lapi(5310)...
and about the camera....it takes very nice picture at good light condition(16M colors)....but at bad light(dimmed),it takes blurr images(absence of flash and autofocus).but i don't think that camera is that imortant to u.
best business phone by nokia (symbian) till date in my opinion is E90...
and if u r into windows mobile then u can wait for x1(SE.WM6.1)...or can go for TYTN(HTC.WM6).
The HTC shift can be called a complete laptop substition which is quite possible now a days as it is running on vista and 1 gigs of ram...sounds great but will cost heavily to ur pocket.
as i am nokia fan and had been using nokia from school itself(3310-1100-ngage-6600-N70-E61i)..thats why i am not into another brand and i don't how these phones perform which i have told u above(SE and HTC)...and if u r nokia fan too then go for E90>E61i>E51>E51(without cam).

hi e61i lovers, i bought this phone just 3 days back n i m too happy using it but the only think which draws me back is that i m unable to downlaod any softwares or themes into it as it does not support e61 mobile themes, so pls pls guys help me out for updating my phone with cool stuffs etc.

Hi bob ! Thank you so much for your truely analytical suggestion and first-hand user's opinion.One more advice I ll ask (if you please don't mind). You said that for gprs E51 is better. But will it not be comparatively (to the big screened E61i) less pleasant to view pages in such small screen of E51? And are the pictures these two great phones take too bad?

To smart boy:if u r really into businees phone then i will sugest u to go for e61i.. bcoz e61i has a large screen and a querty that will be very helpful to u...both E51 and E61i doesn't have good camera. and E61i sounds more louder than E51. though E51 has high cpu performance but i guess that doesn't make any differences becoz E61i performs as smooth as E51...just don't upgrade the phone(E61i)...but if u use GPRS as ur data connection then u can go for E51...i ahve been using E61i for last 9 months and don't have any issues till date..love this phone(posting via e61i).

can i use 4gb memory card in my e61i? does the high memory capacity wont make my phone slow? thanks!

E61i is a great phone. All my favourite apps work wonderfully on it. Anyone wanting a better camera and an updated Symbian OS should wait for the E71. The impressive looks and feel of the E51 gives u a big clue of the upcoming E71.

Hi, nokia E61i lovers! Plz help me out. I am in urgent need of a business phone,preferably Nokia.But cann't decide between E61i & E51. E51 with its loads of feature and handy size is almost perfect but small screen draws me back. E61i with big screen & qwerty is great but lacks EM, jack, FP1 etc. Plz help me to decide. Which one takes better picture and plays better music? Should I wait for E71 liam?Plz plz help! Thanks a lot in advance!

The Eseries are great phones but I had to give away mine (I had two: E50 and E65) because they would pull my ear`s hair.
And it hurts!
Why can`t Nokia design another earpiece for these phones?
Untill that happens, I won`t buy another Eseries...
