The phone is great - easy to use and great keypad and new features - BUT I got it as a business phone rather than a Blackberry and I'm having to recharge 1 - 2 times a day. Disabling the 3G etc helps, but then what's the point?

I've been using E66 for a week now; and I'm facing some problems. First, it doesn't show some caller IDs. This is not a problem due to repeated entry (SIM and phone memory. Second; sliding-down the cover does not end what you are doing and go back to home screen; for example if you are in calendar before you slide downn; the screen locks at calender.

The phone is great, but there is some issues I have korean model of E66, the battery is OK but the noise during call (high frequency sound) appears and its not pleasent at all. I dont know does this happends od Finland models?. I dont know what to do.

Anonymous, 16 Sep 2008does the e66 come with free maps and voice navigation? i have free nokia maps and free 1 year voice navigation,looks like the good ones are made in finland,my E-66 is exellent.

Hi,
just taken my E66 back to the local Vodafone shop. I couldn't get the WLAN to work properly on anything with security, the camera quality was very poor and I kept getting a high pitched noise in my ears when used. The battery performance is pretty poor too, expect to charge it every day.
I've got my trusty K800i out of the drawer until I decide what to go for next (probably N95).

For skype, u can download from fring website, but its not stable on skypeout.

The phone has indeed a killer look but there is certainly more than meets the eye. The e71 is a much better option for a number of reasons:
> longer battery standby
> editing version of Office Apps
> Qwerty keypad
> louder microphone
> Fast interface and larger screen
Not sure on how these are priced elsewhere but in Singapore, they are running at the same price. If you are serious about e66, try other n-series such as n95, n95 8GB, n82 (if u can live with the rice grain keypad) or go with n81. these have better multimedia and at the same time supports the office based emails and applications.

I bought E66 3 weeks ago from Dubai and found that the slide function is not very good to unlock and lock the keypad so given back to the service center for investigation being my phone under warrenty. Does any one notice this? If you quickly close or open the slide then it can skip unclock and lock funcionality most of the time but its ok if we close or open the slide very slowly.

try disable the 3G , HSDPA and GPS , will make the battery last very much longer
