E66 Built SOLIDDDDDDDD!!!.... feels like Arte/Luna type. Built quality is 10/10.
Just some bugs a firmware update will fix it.
That's nokia's custom way with new release.
E65 and E66 and the N78 are the best nokia phones i ever had.

well my mother has e71 but she told me that ... moreI do agree with you. The Design of the E66 is much better. I will stay with E66 and when I get back to Thailand then will buy another Battery to try.
Before I had E61 and I did not like it. It was too wide for my hand to use specialy with one hand. I know E71 is smaller than E61.

well my mother has e71 but she told me that my e66 is better... bcuz she told that the buttins are not that gud and e66 have more features than her e71.. like the accelerometer...^_^
and it has bigger screen and has smaller body unlike her e71 smaller screen but huger...
but for me both handsets are great but I like the design much of E6..
so no regerets when i bought this over e71!

so about ur porblem of battery.. try to buy another origanal battery at nokia... maybe that will solved ur nightmare w/ the battery..

Mart, 18 Aug 2008When is the release date of the E66-2 NAM North Amercian Mo... moreit doesnt matter when/where your phone was made. ur phone is broken cos it is a nokia. i have encountered numerous problems like this with the nokia 8800 arte which is supposed to be a premium handset. nokia QC is crap and i am never buying one again. you should do the same.

I also have a E66-1 version (Asian) and I have the upside down issue, along with the non-functionning slider (it use to work the first few days).

One of the mobile shop owners told me, "Made by Nokia" is actually made by China for foreign contries and they din't mentioned that the devices is Chinees. I dont know, may be its wrong.

tsk tsk! maybe the person se... moreLike I said it does said made in korea. I did not ever had problem with software or photo upside down. My phone like I said everythign is prefect only the battery life. Any How I have many phone and it is not issue much since the Phone doing great. I ahve two of them Like I said will change one to E71. Thanks Jake for your help.
I just set up the EQO on it to which save me alot of money for sms and Long distance calling when I need to call back Thailand when I am traveling in USA.

i bought this phone 5 days ago. after 3 days of use, the back plate got so hot it burnt my hand during a short 5 min call. when i opened the back casing, i could see that the battery was giving out smoke and melting. this seems to be an inherent problem with the phone circuitry. Do not buy! i am in the midst of taking legal action against nokia. they have terrible QC
