Has anybody managed to update this phone yet? Supposedly updating it will fix the camera but so far I have not been able to update

Hi all!
Does anyone know for sure if this phone can edit n create new office docs?
I went to 2 different nokia store, one said it can't, the other said it can.
Also is it true that the image is upside down on the camera?

If you want Extended Battery, DO NOT USE Nokia. 4hours battery life in most of their phones, but 8 if you have Wifi, bluetooth, 3G etc etc turned off!! WHY BOTHER???
At least these designers have learnt that with Slide phones, you need space between the 1,2,3 keys and the bottom of the slide. Oh well, dont rush, one step at a time Nokia!!

jj, 31 Jul 2008hey tell mi how tha e66 works out for yah....i feel im gona... moreIt's just great it has got so many features; it's not only a phone, but you can also use it as a navigation device, as an MP3 player, a means to check and send e-mail, browse the Internet, use it as a USB stick, take pictures and record little movies. And that in a nice, rather slim design. Battery life is halfway after a day playing with it, so well yes I'd prefer it do better, but well, it suffices. It's a real gadget. If you're someone who wants all those possibilities, but won't be Interneting all the time (will probably not even take a mobile Internet subscription, but rather only go online when you can use the free Wifi function), then I'm sure you won't regret the purchase.
Concerning all the boo stories;
- Reception is just perfect
- Battery life indeed isn't the best ever, but it suffices
- Sound is just fine as well, and when you put it 'on speakers' it can -imo- go far from 'not loud enough'. However, when just making a phone call, I can imagine some people would prefer the sound to be a bit louder.

im not a big fan of nokia, but strangely, i think this phone might change my mind, its quite nice and looks a bit sturdy!
i really like it in the white with the silver!

Hi all.
I have switch from Nokia to SE in 2004. It seems to be the best thing Ive done, compared to the OPINIONS posted here (and most of) regarding Nokia phones.
Also, it seems Nokia is making 10 billion phone models - just they all have the same function and looks pretty much the same.
If Nokia is the last remaining phone on this planet, I will rather go back to use smoke signals....

build quality is NOT good. After using this phone for a week, the spring on the slider seems to have been broken. now when i slide the phone open it doesn't stay open as there is nothing holding it in place. Also camera is upside down and the phone automatically shuts off. DO NOT BUY

how's the chance, that the e66 gets a 1500mAh battery, like the e71? isn't it weird, that altough both mobiles are technically the same (except the keypad), the battery is different?

Hi all,
Anyone knows if the battery heats up quickly in a continuous call? I used to have a 6500 slide and it heated up like a hot pad within 10 min.

Just got the phone from a wholesaler here in New York. Gotta say that I am amazed with this phone. Only problems are that the camera is upside down and I cant seem to get a gps signal at all
