this fone's like Nokia E51 on steroids.
the camera on board results better than N73. u can slideout the keyboard when u really need it, enhanced home screen, camera just like the N-series with autofocus and TURN-to-MUTE is just another BIG plus. Love the e-series. its a complete fone. The plastic N96 wont be a complete fone coz it lacks the E-series' Active Standby Plugins.

I own a E65 and it is great phone. I love the VoIP feature which allows me use the wi-fi to make long distance calls using my VoIP provider (Zingotel). The only negative I have with my E65 is the Wifi receiption. If I am not very close to an Access Point I never get Wi Fi coverage.
I also have an iPHONE and the Wi-fi on that is much better. It seems to get similar signal strength to a laptop from a access point.
Does this model have the same anttena as the E65? Or have some improvments been made with the wi fi reception.
When do you think we might see the N standard being adoptid

Nokia E65 was a perfect phone.
With the GPS function now in the E66, i think it's completely flawless.

Its got Symbian pack1 older version when its new phone. What is diff between E51 on face lift,but price three times. This is what Nokia is all about.E65 was a flop never updated firmware for over a year.Plus is steel outfit no paint fadding as E51.
Nokia should introduce xeon flash bcuz night mode is minus point n all Nokias. See when launched

i think nokia won't change itself make many mobiles and many deffrient phaces only what the defrient between e66 and e71 no defrerent between them only the phace how can we trust in this brand i think nothing else sonyericsson

Dr. DoLittle, 20 Jun 2008The 4-way navigation key seemes to be distinctly elevated -... morewow your solution is soo obvious... if the e66's battery life and its sliding form are the two reasons why you wouldnt get an e66. then dont get one. Get the e71 instead. The battery life is amazing. 410hrs standby and 10 1/2 hrs talk time if im not mistaken.
And SE p5 is gona hv tht weird qwerty keypad, while e71 has a great qwerty keypad. oh n e71 is a messenger form factor.

The 4-way navigation key seemes to be distinctly elevated - hopefully with the same tactile feel of "3110 classic". Good - I hate the flat, spongy feel of for example "N82".

I used nokia only once in my life..ie is nokia 6170. It was realy horrible in terms of battery life and low ringing tone....gotta admit it was well-built though. Since then I've been using SE phones and never disappointed me till now. I am kinda sony person..all my gadgets like tv, laptop, dvd etc are sony and qualitywise I am very satisfied despite its high cost.
My question is ...nokia being no1 seller in mobile phones and after seeing this phone I am thinking of changing my current SE P1 and try out this nokia E66. This phone looks great and has awesome spec. I have 3 choices...one is this e66, 2nd is samsung g810 or wait for SE P5. All these gonna cost me above $500 which I think is too much mobile phone. So I need to choose the best phone carefully for this amount of money.
So i need help in chosing one of these great phones. Is it worth paying $500-600 for this phone. This question for nokia fans??? I liked everything about this e66 except 2 things...one is battery (it got only 1000 mah) and second is sliding mechanism. I know nokia 95 got crappy sliding mechanism.
