i bought this phone last month, battery problem, screen keeps playing up, not vibrating, not ringing, phone turns itself off everytime i talk for 2, 3 minutes, malfunctioning buttons
i got a replacement last week, still, the screen keeps flicking abnormally, a piece of useless junk, nokia's quality has been dropping so bad these years, hasnt been a good phone since 6288, very disappointed

Played with this phone for a while at Cisco Live '08... seemed like a great solid phone, and appears to work very well with Cisco CallManager (in WiFi mode, it will act as a Cisco VoIP phone). User interface was smooth.. pretty much the same as any other Symbian OS. I was hoping WiFi Internet was going to be a bit snappier, but can't beg for too much I guess. Web browser also seemed to be pretty good (IPhone like, w/o the touch screen).

rakeb, 26 Jun 2008phones microsoft windows is good but symbian os more than m... moreWindows mobile needs a much faster processor for it to function properly. Any other processor below 500mhz would make the OS run slowly and hang frequently.
Symbian performs properly when using the freescale 369mhz processor or the ti omap 330mhz processor.
Another advantage that symbian has over Windows is that it is less power hungry. A symbian phone can use a 1500mah battery for btw 5-7 days while a windows phone will go for around 1-3 days of moderate use.
So symbian is a better choice.

Wow. What a stylish smartphone. I was beginning to think that the s60 platform had been neglected of beauty combined with good features + performance.
I loved the 6500 slide and the 5610 Xpressmusic. They had some really nice features; beautiful design, lovely cameras and sound, instant response, good battery life, but the only thing they were to blame for was no symbian OS was on board.
Now this beautiful device comes along and adds some beautiful features (bigger screen, slimmer body, bigger capacity battery, gps, hspda, vga recording at 22fps, accelerometer,) to the already existing ones (good 3.2mp camera, 3 days of battery life under moderate use, beautiful design). Thank you nokia for not neglecting the smartphones.

Seems Nokia has finally got its Eseries rocking. This Eseries is zillion times better than N or Sony's walkman series.
