Maybe you should check if your battery is original, plus the initial charging and how you use your phone..
Different lifestyles has different results. I have 3 phones N95, 6300 and the E66 ... so far I haven't experienced any problems or difficulties. Life is too short to be wasted on worries.. If your unhappy with your phone then buy a new one. Its not a problem If you have the money.

james, 21 Mar 2009for battery life make sure that lj mode on. then u wil get ... moreHi, i just got E66 myself thinking the battery life is very good(7 hrs talk time)and wanted to maximise it.I immediately used the phone to talk and when the battery got drained out. I charged it for 6 hrs.
Pls let me know as to now how many hrs is the talk time in practical terms.
I dont think the battery last for more than 1.5 days.

for battery life make sure that lj mode on. then u wil get ariund 4030 hrs.
2. fold acurrency note in con type & put backside of the battery.it increases battery life

had this phone for a few months now... the call settings are set to slide to answer but when i slide it, it doesnt answer. also the keypad lights dont work even though the settings are set to on. the battery life is also very low... has anyone else been experiencing these problems?

Other than absolute basics in quick menus anything else you have to dig deep to get to.
I am bitterly disappointed with Nokia for the first time I think they have fallen far behind in technology.
This phone is for someone who wants basics but has some knoledge of how to search for even that within the phone.

I have this nokia for some days and bateri is about 16 hours . This is second . First was 10 hours . Probably some malfunkcion but in the service said that is normal.Besides that very nice phone and very fine to use.

T, 17 Mar 2009How many messages can the phone take? How is the battery life?I have had the E66 for approx 6 weeks. It is gr8 in that it's slim but solidly constructed. Excellent slide mechanism. Really user friendly-very good for texting. BUT the battery is terrible. It really is and I'm fed up with having to change it after less than 2 days use. The E55 coming soon has a 1500 battery. I shall get it as it seems very similar to E66. If you don't mind changing the battery often then get the E66. Apart from that it is a wonderful phone + so much less plasticky than the N series phones.
