One more thing, I dunno, but its a bit slower especially when I press the contacts button, it takes several seconds unlike by Nokia 6500.

the gps on this phone, does it work like a tomtom you put in a car or does it only locae the position that you are in? because the picture of the gps shows that it locates your position only? thanx

Hi E66 users. For those complaining about the battery, make sure you exit every application because applications could be running in the background and decrease battery life. long press the home key and you'll see all running programmes. pressing the red key to homekey doesn't exit all programs. hope this helps you all.

Alain, 30 Dec 2008Dear E66 Users, does anyone know why there is always a ligh... morethe navigation key keeps blinking to alert you of some events like missed calls, messages etc. or check your profile settings, breathing light is turned on. just turn if off and it will stop. its not a problem, so relax. Enjoy the phone cos its the bestest!

I got this unit last December 14,2008. So far so good my only prob i cannot access to 3g. i tried different sim coz it might be just the provider but still no 3g signal. I am in the Philippines and this unit was bought in Florida.

im using this phone
it looks great but battery is terrible
im very dispointed with the battery otherwise its a great phone

i have used an e66 for 3 weeks. Immediately i've had problems with it when i placed a 4gb card. The phone terribly malfunctioned. It doesn't read certain files, programs don't open, files disappearing, black outs, etc. It didn't have those sorts of problems tho when i use the 2gb card that came with the package. So far it's been working fine except that it couldn't hold network signal while my other phones indicate full network signal. I'm still quite scared tho coz of the problems i've been reading about. & my 6220 also has bluetooth problems coz now it indicates 'unable to perform bluetooth function'. I'm really disappointed with these 2008 releases by nokia. Should have stuck with my n73 & 6120.

Then why dont you approach consumer court yet.
If you forward through leagally , immisitly you can feel the changes.

Nokia E66 is far better than Nokia E71, just like Nokia E71 is better than Nokia E90.

Overall it's a good phone, but does't have Stop Watch function. Can any body help me to install any software for this.

Nokia E66 is a failure model. Please do not buy this set if you want peace of mind. It will not detect memory card and sim card. If you buy this set you can give it to your childred to play games.

guys battery is GOOD ..i dunoo why ur complaining about it..i used many phones and if i compare it with them its GOOD..im using the navigator and the wifi most of the time and still good...anyway where is youe devices manifactured? mine is made in finland but i noticed that most of the E66 in the market are made either in korea either in china
