Does E66 heat up after using for a short while?

Hey All,
I would like to post a problem am facing with my Nokia E66, when receiving an sms from 1 of my contacts, i receive it with an international format (+9613xxxxxx) beside the contact name. Our default format is 03xxxxxx and i have never faced any problem with a nokia device until i got the E66, and the weird part is when reading my messages from pc suite i can see the name just like normal, but on my device i see +9613xxxxxx, i tried to contact nokia care, and as usual, the only solution they have is restore your phone to factory settings , my phone is still new, but didn't stop me to restore it, and nothing, the problem remains ...i contacted my network provider they told me that this is a phone problem.

On my Nokia E66, there is a light around the naviation key turning on and off every few seconds, does anyone know why? Thanks in advance

hi mate, i wonder if how can i change or deactivate the camera ring tone? it is very irritating :S or is it fixed? cheers

Had bought this phone for few weeks and it still a good phone to me. Battery can last for few days with normal use, make sure you didn't not accidently open the GPS. GPS will make ur battery gone within half a day.

i'm thinking about buying an e66...i curently have LG KU990...can enybody say something about the e66 that will change my mind or should i keep using my ku990...if enybody knows a better phone than the e66 feel free to write i'm open for suggestions..buy buy

So finally the nokias R&d engineers come up with a sleek busineess phone that does so many things but simply doeesnt have the energy to do it!! yes the batterey life is MISERABLE. I have to charge it almost evry day inspite of sparing use(and iam no busineess person just an ordinary user).Wonder whether the nokia team thought business people hardly travel or hardly speak!! In the airport i got strnded without charge.Its hogh time for nokia to release an updated battery and Really look into the battery
issues.

Just got my E66.
It is behaving perfectly well.
In case someone is having problems with their SIM & Memory cards, it must be a one-set-malfunction

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2008please help..i cant put themes on my e66 it say certificate... moreyou are unable to put themes whereas im unable to put memory card and sim card. even after inserting a valid sim and memory card it asks insert sim card and memory card corrupted

nokia e66 is a failure model.it could not detect memory card and sim card. so many complaints are there.

I think the battery problem lie in the speaker itself. I notice once the phone is on desktop mode. there is a very lower static noise at the background. it is very difficult to hear it. i have send it back to nokia service centre but no there serive ppl did not solve the problem... this is my third time sent in repair if they failed to resolve the issue. i am going to file a Small Claims Tribunals.

i see Nokia still pushing it for xmas gift set everywer the failure E66.... Nokia E66 which very Serius batterylife problem will celebrate with u to welcome 2009

dear sirs,
i had purchase nokia e66 model handset from the mobile store {washermen pet, chennai } on 30-8-.08
vide their invoice number tn/01254/00001/6640. imei number of the handset is 352943021555342.
on using the hand set i came to know that there was some manufacturing defect of not detecting the sim card and memory card. i gave it to the nokia care {prince tower., purusaiwalkam, chennai} on 8-10 -08.
and they returned back the handset saying that they have rectified the fault. but again on usage i came to know the same problem was occuring. again i gave to the nokia care on 18-10-08. job sheet number 089434038/081018/5.
when they informed me that the handset is ready i went to nokia care and came to know that they have changed the mother board of the handset. and this mother board was not supporting the
default softwares which were given in the set by nokia.
i insisted for the replacement of hand set since it was hardly one month i had purchased the handset
which was defective and i was not satisfied with the defective set though they had changed the mother board because it would cost me extra to re install the softwares once again. but they are neither ready to replace the handset nor giving me the installation of the default softwares. the handset is still lying with nokia care . they are wasting my time and no one is taking the responsibility to solve the issue.
please take necessary action against them and do the need full.
