uhm.....in case you guys haven't notice..Carl Zeiss optics sucks. u should know better if you have used a lot of N-series nokia phones. compared to the other phones not using this technology. i've tried and compared them so i hope somebody will agree with me on this.

Bobby, 01 Nov 2010does this phone have a fm trans, important to me as i drive... morebobby im sure by now you've heard the terrible news the E7 doesnt come with the FM transmitter one of the reasons why now ive choosen to go for the N8 the other reason being an 8megapixel camera without Carl Zeiss optics.i thought Carl Zeiss Optics wouldve become a standard thing amonsgt Nokia cameras by now. regardless this phone is awesome just wish nokia couldve added those two items or just added a QWERTY keyboard to the N8

it will be available in USA before the end of the year. other countries will get it by early 2011.

1. 12MP camera with xenon flash a... morethere will not be any E7-00. after the E7, Nokia is going to produce MeeGo devices.
E7 already been produced & ready to ship. It will shipp mid of December.

C6-01 c7 & e7 has 8mp camera only one disadvanteg is all three phone that is not carl zeiss optics in camera. Like 5800 x6 n97. No auto focus but its ok.

I wish it was as huge as the i phone 4 and 12 mp xenon flash and games and 720p video recording so it must be cheap 2 then it would be the best phone in the world

Nokia E7-00 should have:
1. 12MP camera with xenon flash and auto focus like N8.
2. FM transmitter like N8.
If all specs above included, then I will go for E7-00.
Card slot is not important, cos 16GB built in is more than enough to save images, videos, documents etc.
i want to share here my interest, I like N97 mini,unfortunately its sucks battery so fast. I hope E7 battery can last at least 4 days.
* I hope nokia will read my comments and enhance E7 for better specs.

If you look at all of the other phones out there, none have the best of every feature. There is always a tradeoff between cost, quality and time to market. If you try to put the best of every feature on one phone, it would cost too much and/or take too long to hit the market.
The other thing you need to consider is that not everyone needs or wants the best of every single feature. For instance, I do not play games on my phone. A phone with the best game control would not interest me. I would rather spend my money on a phone with crappy game controls (or none) but has a good GPS and browser.

Nokia needs to start getting their marketing designers replaced!

Nokia don't have that anymore, instead they are just playing catch-up!
Seriously E7 should have 1500 batter (min)
12 mp camera xenon (maybe even add a focal 3x electronic lens)
Ovi store ... they need to redesign it. it's just horrible. maybe consider making it like all other competitor e-stores?
Symbian was nice, but its core just hasn't changed...
Hardware processor speeds feel like they are trying to liquidate their old processor stock..
(This is all coming from a long time nokia user)
but the competition out there is just better since Android and Apple hit the block, quite a shame :(
