The disadvantages of having E71 are:
1. You are paying for GPS which not very many use.
2. The screen is small (compared to many other phones).
3. The keypad may not suit you. You may have a mental block about the small size of the phone.
4. You have to have an unlimited usage GPRS connection if you want to make full use of its features.
5. Does not have touch facility.
6. Music is not really good.
7. The camera is not really worth being called 3.15MP.

I can go on. All the points given above can be justified for any phone.
The point is, you know the specs. You know the price. You know what you can use and what you cant. You know your finances. If you like the looks and feel you can use it effectively and can afford it, buy it, if you cant, then look elsewhere.

I'm from australia and currently I'm using 200 firmware in this phone. But I just noticed that after the firmware update all the call records gets deleted from the log after 24 hours. Has anyone of you experienced this problem? I tried reformatting the phone but its still the same...

You can also try this on your cell. It has got nothing to do with E71.

Thanks man. Currently trying the said site. Browsing for some apps. And yeah, it has a lot of applications to choose from. One question though, before I use the applications at getjar, do i still have to rgister? Thanks.

you would be surprised to know that only on one site, www.getjar.com there are about 4000 SW compatible with E71 alone. try the site. there are other site too, www.dotsis.com. try that too. and you will find yourself drowning in SW for E71.

Thank's for the opinion men. I'm currently using E71. I love the phine and just currently updated my firmware. The only problem with E71 is that there is not much applications that you can install. Not like if your using a windows mobile. There are lots of applications that you can use. Do you happen to know a site that has free E71 applications? If you know a site pls. tell me. Thank's man.

That is why Nokia recommends a backup of your data and has made it a part of updation. And that includes your memory card as well.

The only way I've found that to turn the camera sound is to go to your GENERAL profile and personalise then turn the 'warning tones' off this worked for me but obviously it turns off other warning tones ie battery low etc.
Hope this is of some help
