I love this phone!
It peactically has everything you need and even some things you don't. It can be used by a 'regular' user or a business user.
I can't say anything about the battery atm, because I only have it for about two days. It should get to it's max after 10 refills. So no worries if the first days it doesn't last long.
The keyboard is really handy for typing emails, texting, sending MMSes, anything really.
The camera is good enough, tho you have to autofocus by yourself by pressing the T key, it not it will not do it alone. But that's not a real problem.
Surfing on the net is great, especially if you can acess a WLAN to stay on.
The shortcuts are great (press call to send a fast message after writing it), press the navi button after it go into 'sleep' mode to see the clock .. and so on.
I really like it, and for now this one is my favorite phone ever.
I like it better for typing than the iphone.
I recommend it. 10/10

Like the photo camera cards.
Try changing it with the 4th class.

the nokia e71 is an amazing smart phone. i bought it about 2 months ago and love the fact it has a great battery and talk time endurance. the features on the phone are good enough unless your going into hardcore use then all you have to do is download a few applications. there are many suitable programs for this phone but you just gotta look around for it i.e. www.getjar.com. you will love the internet speed if you are running a wireless lan or have a fast internet plan. bad thing about the phone is the back cover as it seems to always attract finger prints. overall best smart phone made by nokia ever.

I want to know what's the difference between the 4GB microSDHC class 4 and the class 6, because the bought the class 6 although its more expensive, it seams that its not compatible with this phone, because I have faced problems it messages browsing, media browsing and music library. Anyone has faced such a problem? plz reply

Thanks for your suggestion, anyway I've formatted the memory card and reload some application from nokia website. I think not all the application is there in the nokia website, I don't remember exactly what are the application that was installed in my E71 when I bought it at the first place.Can you advice? Thanks...

I had this phone but had to get shot. It just kept having the connection error problem so I could never call or text people and they couldn't get through to me. It was a fantastic phone but I needed one that worked otherwise I would have kept it.

One of the best biz phone. Hard to find areas I can complain about. I had HTC P3300 dumped it in a month to get this one. Now I am liberated! Few things could have been better:
Symbian OS shouldn't crash once in a while
menu's shouldn't freez once in a while
bluetooth explorer would have been good
contact's should provide notes addition on phone (you still can but using nok pc suite)
keyboard is very very good.

1.I'd like to ask how can I use my email features in this E71 phone since I'm using a hotmail address? I can't seem to synchronize my phone with the email in the internet. I seem to have a problem with my email settings and I don't know how to solve it.
