Lot of Software problems with this phone...
1)This phone is a pleasure for typing emails n Messages but Please refrain from buying from the Middle East market as the phone comes with the English/Arabic keyboard which makes typing HELL !!!As the English letters are in Blue, recognizing them is quite a strain on the eyes.
2)Please dont upgrade to version 110.07.127 dated 09-10-2008 which is available on Nokia website...
It has lots of bugs mainly making your Memory card useless...
a)U will not be able to refresh music from the music player.
b)U cannot set ringtones or calender tones to your loaded music files on the memory card/phone except from file manager.
c)Gallery does not open anymore.
3)Very few free Themes available which are suitable for E71
The Build quality of the phone is Superb although and you can even play songs while talking to any1..Both parties can hear the song..Quite cool...

If I buy E71 Nokia US version, will it have any difference with Nokia Asia Pacific version? Will any of the feature will not be able to use in Asia for E71 US version? Someone please advise!!

This phone is one of the best phone that i'v used. i love it. More than the stupid Iphone i had. Qwerty Keys on this thing works like a charm. simple but packs a lot of bang for your buck. trust me. Symbian OS is the best OS for phones. Love Nokia!!

just got the phone and i'm still figureing things out, but can't seem to find a way to configure the email key (envelope key) so that when i tap it to go in Messaging and not mailing.... pls help.thank u in advance

yea, i ordered ZAGG also or my E71. installation was okay. it takes a lot to get a nice finish (smooth finish) the only trouble i have was with the screen and the one corner. you can always rip it off and redo it as long as you have the solution.

I am looking for... moreHi just responding to your mail. this phone works fantanscally with email. you just need to download nokia server email service which makes the phone to work axcactly as blackberry with push emaill services. you only set this up once. you put in yr email user name and password and thats is it. the email is downloaded direct to the phone as soon as you get them.
you can even have a little sound like text alert every time you get an email. its lovely phone for me better than blackberry but dont know when Nokia will start charging for this service

Hey everyone, need advice from an existing user on audio functionality. Can u fast froward tracks on the music player? If so, how as I cnnot see the icon for this on the screen?
This is a critcal factor for me to know before buying. Thanks in advance for your help.

How is the Email functionality on the E71. I am looking for seamless email, which means that the emails should reflect on the E71 without any effort on my part to especially connect and then do too many clicks. I want this phone, but is the email feature as solid as a Blackberry ??
