I only used this device for about 10 days the camera became so slow to open and to end, can anybody advise to solve this problem?

E71 is superior to E61i in almost every way, save screen size. E61i's keys and form factor may be bigger, but it's uncomfortable to hold and keys have poor responses. Nokia didn't stop at better hardware with E71 either. Many (unfortunately not all) N-series software is now included here and the visual look is also vastly improved. Nokia definitely put a lot of thought into this phone, with the only two significant drawbacks being a next-to-useless camera (good lens, terrible sensor) and way-overly cramped S60 UI.

Anyone who can help on how to make the MAP work? i've tried the map loader but still can't see the actual map.

Ive been using E71 for like 3 weeks or so. Got themes softwares maps everything the fone is amazing watevea i could get BUT i dont know y there is some battery issue with my fone. after making like 10-12 call one bar goes down. And when i start playing with it then within no time the other one dies. With my heavy use battery last for only 2 days.... HARDLY. The other fone which I am using is E50 and the battery is excellent no issues with it. Can somebody help me out plz!

guys, what about the battery stand by time? i m curently using a n95 8g and if i speek around 2 hrs on the phone it doesn t last more than 2 days. i m sick of charging it every 1 and 1/2 days or 2. i see that the batery is a bit larger than the one in n95(1200 n95/1500 e 71), but does it worth to change? i mean, beside the camera they have allmost the same features. thanks

I've had the nokia E71 since it first came out in the UK. I find it is one of the better phones i've had. I can't find any problems with it. It's so easy to pick up emails in the morning when your having your coffee. You press two buttons and all your emails are in your hands.
The camera does lack a little but it does a good job. They keypad is amazing even though it is small the keys seem to attract your fingers. Even when you've had a few drinks you can still mange to hit the keys with out missing to much. The screen that is really clear i've used it with the sun above me and i can still see everything with out covering it up. The applications are really good. The GPS can pint point you in the jungle it has a strong signal where ever you go.
For such a smart phone it's very much a pick up and play. I got this phone on my lunch break i thought it would take hours to set it up with in 5mins i was sending emails. It is a phone that you should buy if your looking for a replacement to your black berry. Sony erriccson or any other smart phone you've got. If your new to the smart phones you will find this phone very easy. You really can't go wrong with this phone.

I am using E71 from the time it was launched. No doubt its a great device but being a business phone it must support Black Berry Connect like the previous e series phones. For some time I used Nokie E-mail beta but even that is not working anymore. I think its high time Nokia find a solution to this problem as the phone was launched over 2 months ago otherwise most of the users that I know (including myself) are seriously considering BB..

Can somebody who is using e71 please confirm if I will have to pay gprs rates to use the GPS function? Everybody seems to be asking this and I havent found an answer yet..

Hi All,
I'm looking at buying the E71 and am just woried about the WLAN. Can you connect to this easily? Also if the GPRS signal is stronger will it automatically change to this or stay on WLAN?

Don't doubt on battery of E71. It has got excellent battery backup I have ever seen.

can anyone tell me about the talk time of this phone....? cause I've read it on many sites that the battery ain't that good as they show that it gives the talk to of 10 hours.
