hi friends i need your help i am planning to get e72 can i get white of e72. When i checked in the nokia priority at coimbatore was not able to get it. Can i get it from where near by ??? How is the phone and heard that sound is very low in it so is there any other option to increase it and what about the software of this can we add any software lik the symbian phones. how about the battery back up and is it easy to browse, what about the speed ? I wil be really thank full if you would help me ......

sohana, 21 May 2010hi whenever i take picture with my e72,there is a black sp... moreI am facing the same problem.... There is a black spot in the pictures and videos, also in the view finder... Its definitely a hardware issue, because if you zoom, the spot moves out and disappears to a side... I guess its either the camera sensor or optics... Help me with this, i have a dealer warranty, but i am outside the country... I also have nokias warranty card, but its unstamped.... Can i use either of these in a nokia service country in this different country?? The phone is almost brand new, just two weeks old, and i am facing no other problems... Do help...

Diligent and keen reading over this comment section of the phones here in GSMARENA had proven useful for me in many occassions. Now, I am planning of purchasing Nokia e72. There are tons of good features in this phone. But my final deciding feature will be the use of VoIP. I would like to know from users of this unit what are their experiences using VoIP. Is it good enough and recommendable or should I consider some other phones? Hope someone can shed light here. Thank you and more power to gsmarena followers.

Raqee, 25 May 2010Hi Alexander So how does E72 receive email notifications? ... moreIt keeps alive connection to IMAP server over TCP/IP. TCP/IP connect, which dry the battery. It does not matter are there any mails for you or not. If you do not use push-mail, you can poll mail server, for example every 10-20 minutes, it is not a big problem for battery, but it is not "push".

N73 announced, instead of steel above keypads, its plastic all, outer rim steel removed by plastic. More flattened look rest ditto. price of E72 nose dive.

It is good phone for sms, but its a bad e-mail phone.
Blackberry push mail does not dry battery because phone receives e-mail notification like sms message.
nokia E63/71/71/73 works with IMAP IDLE. It means that it should keep alive connection to the IMAP server. Try to turn push mail on this phone and you will find that it does not work more that 15-16 hours. 16-17 days from spec it is lol. Business phone which does not have push-mail is lol too

Folorunso, 23 May 2010I had my E72 two weeks ago and it has performed beautifully... moreGo the upgrades and when asked choose 'Upgrade via email'. Go to your mail browser download the latest sis file for Q Office and install. Register after installation.

What the??! I knew the data cable is gonna be short but I didn't know it would be TOOOOOO SHORT. Why Nokia, WHY. I used to have N95. It's secondary camera is so good and I thought E72 had that, but no. Even when the lighting is good, it does not create better images. The primary camera does fine, but what I don't like is how I should always put the phone inside it's case just so the camera lens would not have scratches.
