My friend bought one and he mentioned a crash or 2 but no big deal. He was only disappointed in de material, it feels so plastic and fake. He previous phone was and E71 so maybe thats the problem for him.

              I myself bought an E71 today for 160€ :)

Hi. Just bought Nokia E72 yesterday and until now I'm very happy with it. I had a Nokia E71 before but I lost it so I knew what I was hopping for. But I have a question. My phone keeps popping up a message every time I unlock the keypad, asking me wich internet connection I want to choose/looking for a wireless lan.I guess it's some kind of automatic setting it's on, but I alreday tried everything and the damn message keeps popping up. Anyone knows how to turn that annoying thing off? Thanks

Just came back from outside now...I went and bought E71, I was ready to wait for the E72, but when i looked at both, i figured that E72 has the double the price of E71 for some specs that I personally can live without...Besides, I believe that mobile phones are not in investment, their prices fall sharply...
Believe it or not, i was in the shop where i bought the E71, a guy came in, after buying the E72 10minutes earlier, he tried to return it, He kept telling the shop keeper that he cant make calls, the shop keeper tried but no luck, the shop keeper refused to take it back...At least i feel good about a phone that i bought and know i can update to a stable OS.

They reckon the e72 has a brighter screen due to the alteration of the sensitivity of the light sensor..Its nice to have the choice if its too bright turn it down..Still cannot understand the foto taking proccess,,do you have to have to optical trackpad activated to take a picture???

Topaz is 550$ Made in China, not worth it, but No break through except upgrades. Today E71 is 300$ white made in Finland. More heavy steel and durable outclassed. Wait it will settle at 300$ after christmas and always look for Finnish made.

The rear is stainless steel and looks quite strong. The plus look great, keypad is solid and so is the D-Pad.

Maybe it will break fast but at first sight it looks tight and really well build. We'll see how it deals with time...

Oh, my unit said "MAID IN FINLAND" in the box.

But, on nokia official website in specification part it shows SMS : up to 999 Messages. This one is bad thing in it. Not more than 999 msgs, thats the sad thing.

To those who already own the E72. Does E72 match the build quality of the E71

Just spoke with our Nokia representative.
To all you Belgians: normal release date is in december but since release dates are invented to be broken, i'd say at the end of december/beginning january.
The price should be around the starting price of the nokia E71 which was 439 euros. This is in belgium without any contract.

The Nokia E71 now costs 279 euros in Belgium. A difference of 160 euros.

Now, to continue my "rant" ;) about the camera.
Get a Sony W180 which costs 129 euros in our store and you save yourself 30 euros but get a 10MP, 3x optical zoom, smile shutter and steady shot camera.

If you absolutely need the 3.5mm jack, trackpad and compas, i'll keep my mouth shut because the E72 will definately be a better choice.

                                        Juzels
