Nokia Freak, 01 Feb 2012Which is better E5 or E73 ?Dude, the E5 specs does not even come close to the E73. Besides the E73 is slim and metallic body and has a optical trackpad. E72 and E73 is comparable. I got the E73 for $189 in a deal, but the E5 is available for $99.
I used N82, Iphone 3GS and E73 and I can say this phone is best for serious work with no nonsense.

Fantastic Phone and many features that you can even imagine.

I am using this phone as my GPS in Minneapolis, USA with a Tmobile unlimited prepay plan and absolutely surprised by Ovi Maps, free voice turn by turn navigation with street names, shows which lane you are in etc.

Has FM radio, and you can chose your location and save all the local FM stations from the internet

Alarm and ringing stops and goes into silent mode if you flip the phone

Has voice commands, while driving you can ask to read the message out, make a call to a contact which I think is very helpul

I have configured all my emails in a breeze

I have nimbuzz so I can chat from all my accounts (gmail/yahoo/hotmail/facebook)

Supports Wifi calling, so if you are in an area where the reception is low but you have wifi, the phone will place the call using the wifi network. Helps if you move into basements.

Very Decent 5 mpx camera with pan0roma and different modes, the LED flash can be used as a flashlight

QWERTY keboard with an optical trackpad makes it a breeze to browse web, chat, txt, email etc

Also the device works even if you are wearing a gloves unlike other touch screen phones.

The screen size is decent for email/chat/browse definitely the biggest but that what lets it go 1 full day with a single charge with 1 hr of music, 1 hr of calls, 1 hr of internet.

Slim Metallic body, feels solid in hand and came with memory card, car charger, usb cable, 3.5 mm in ear earphones in the box

I love this phone, even though I had a iphone before.

Qasim Jameel, 03 Nov 2011Hi All I remain very loyal customer of Nokia because of it... moreThis phone charges through the mini USB. Very few phones from Nokia takes a charge from the USB port. Why do you need the universal charger pin??

Best phone, used the N82 before and I am a fan of Symbian. Symbain can run smoothly on low hardware config but it is very very powerful. Android needs a 1.2 GHZ processor and still an equalizer is missing in the music player. What a symbian can do, android is still adding them.

For me, the camera is not that great because it is not Carl Ziess and does not have variable aperture from Tessar. I dont know why Nokia removed the great quality camera's they had on older devices like N95 and N82.

Nice loud audio, in ear headphones as bundle. Stereo Widening, Bass Enhancement and Equalizer options available.

Music player syncs via, Windows Media Player, takes Playlits, remembers most played, recently played, recently added. Suffle, Repeat options also available. What else do one needs from a music player.

Has noise cancellation which cuts background noise on a call and it works great.

                                        A phone under $200

                                        Has GPS
                                        Has wifi calling
                                        Has full office document editing
                                        Has Push mail
                                        Has Radio
                                        Has 5 mpx camera
Has switch wizard, which lets you transfer the contents of your old phone (contacts and messages)
Optical Track pad (serves as a jog dial for audio player)
                                        A torch
Good Battery life with the 1500 mah battery
Qwerty keyboard (touch screens don't work , if you are working a gloves)
Has a bar-code scanner and Zip.
Sync's with Outlook and automatically adds meetings to your phone.
                                        Message Reader
Speaks out the name of the caller.

Now you decide what you want to buy.

Android is good, but I believe many people are not aware of the full functionality of Symbian and interesting to note all these features were available 5 years back when android did not exit.
