Oh yeah, Bixby. I have it disabled on my S8, but whenever I accidentally press the Bixby button it yells at me and tells me that Bixby is disabled and I have to activate it to use it. There is only a small problem with that, I DON'T WANT TO USE IT.

justasmile, 04 Jul 2023Nonsense! That always can be removed once you started your phone. Not everything can be removed and even after you remove the apps that you can remove, the OS will still stay heavy, it's not just about the apps.

For example the Galaxy Store and 3 Microsoft Apps can not be removed from my Galaxy S8, but correct me please if you can remove them from newer Samsung phones. And by remove I mean completely delete, not just blocking the app or turning it off.

justasmile, 04 Jul 2023Nonsense! That always can be removed once you started your phone.Nope, you can't clear everything up. Bixby and other samsung crap, you just can't. If you clear bixby you're in for the trouble and even if let's say you don't care about the trouble, tgere still is the Interface.... is just no comparison, but yeah, android 12-13 are a bit of RAM hungry. Still tough on x30 8GB RAM uses 4GB after 2 weeks of no shutdown, sometimes gets less. For a device with enough RAM to keep all android services opened, i'd say is great. But then again, i do not know how many people understand how RAM works and why the same stystem can still be stable on 4GB RAM devices as well as on 8 GB RAM devices. There is a trick, but i'm not going to get into the terms and why, and bla bla. If you're interested you could search for it tough. And maybe you also find out why samsung is bad at ram management😊.

justasmile, 03 Jul 2023I'm on Samsung A51, and for me, 4GB RAM is too small. ... moreOut of 4 GB RAM user usable free RAM is 2 GB probably.
Hence while using that device you are facing RAM related problem.

I'm also using a samsung device but with 6 GB RAM out of that 3 GB is free RAM for user.
I bought that on 2020 and using it without any problem.
I buy things kind of thinking how long will i use, hence before buying anything i do a little research online mostly.
Because local shops always tries more advanced strategies to manipulate the customer while buying a new phone.

MakeNokiaGreatAgain, 30 Jun 2023It's not a marketing stunt, it's an absolutely br... moreWell, i have to buy both tools and components to repair my phone at home.
Yes i can do that but that will cost more if i buy both, which don't look good for short term but long term yes that strategy would be good as if my family lives forever then mobile devices are not going away soon.
Those tools can be used to repair whenever anyone's phone needs repair.
But all those things looks smooth on paper and dream.
In real life they are complicated.
If nokia's strategy goes succesful then people like you and me will get benefits from it.
But i don't think nokia makes any components at all.
They will bring components from china most probably.
So, don't know about the future of nokia.

I use a samsung device and it has a fast charger which has print - MADE IN INDIA.
But strange is the USB TYPE -C cable's metal pin has print - VIETNAM.
The overall package has print - MADE IN INDIA.
But i don't think mobile companies are transparent at all, so don't believe those marketing stunt.

I paid 200 euro back then in December of 2018, it got 2 OS upgrades, 3 years of security patches, it has a glass front and back, the feel in hand is way more premium than for that price was expected. The chipset was good enough to make it very smooth in daily use. Money well spend when I look back at it, and it actually is still in use.

looking at nokias cuz i had a 5 and 5.1 plus and i want a new one because they were the best phones, now a redmi 9 and itll last some time i have it for some years and dropped it very hard tens of times it is like new, once tought of getting 5.4 nokia but it was kinda ugly and was slightly very little under specs compared with xiomi at that time nokia 5 series being the best buget phone line

nice now make g52/g62 or other and make the best buget phone like the slightly older 5 series nokias which used to be best cheapest phone like xiaomi then 5.4 got slightly weaker and a little ugly then 5 series disapeared

MakeNokiaGreatAgain, 30 Jun 2023G42 = Repairable, recycled. G400 isn't.Technically they are both repairable.

The bigger difference is that the G42 is easily user repairable, has more storage and can have up to 6GB of ram, while the G400 has much better cameras and a much better screen.
