nokia fan here,but Elop is a big joke. Elop should have develope Symbian or Meego further. Windows Phone doesn't have the charm, Jolla's SailFish OS is better.

Microsoft should realize that for an OS a file manager is the basic. It's closed source but come on, why can't i save anything? Please Microsoft include a file manager and native video call functionality in your OS. Nokia, you've the best hardwares but you don't know how to utilize it. For a camera centric phone, no MicroSD card and just 32 GB version is never sufficient. There should be a job evaluation for Stephen Elop. He is a Trojan horse sent by Microsoft to destroy Nokia. Fire Elop please. Look at the Nokia 808, it has the hardware and if it has WP8 i wouldn't mind to get it. MeeGo was good OS and so was Symbian. If both got merged, it would create the best OS but no, some hypocrite by the name of Elop killed them all. Acquire Jolla and further develop MeeGo. It'd be cool. Nokia fire Elop!

i don't know why nokia will not launch the quad core processor instead of (cpu dual-core 1.5 ghz krait). if nokia want to beat the market of pakistan especially karachi they will launch the incredible specification vs samsung, htc and qmobile.plsss nokia do the needful. and sorry if u mind.

i want much to buy this phone, but i don't feel fully satisfied with it. Wp8 doesn't actually support quad core, but couldn't they put 2.2ghz latest dual? Couldn't they put adreno 305 like in midrange lumias? And regarding same thickness as 920, why no inbuilt wireless charging? Or make it thinner then or put a 3000mah battery. And why not a bigger sensor wide angle front camera for excellent videocall? And why not UsbOtg, the most needed thing in a cameraphone? I can live with 32gb storage and 4.5'' screen, but if i am to pay €700+ for it i want a few more improvements from 920, camera alone is not worth twice the 920 price.
Comparing 920 vs 1020 (€380 vs €730 in my country):
1gb vs 2gb of ram
lcd vs amoled screen
inbuilt wless charging vs no inbuilt one
10.7mm vs 10.4mm thickness
3.7v 2000mah vs 3.8v 2000 mah battery
8.7mpx ois 5 lenses vs 41 mpx ois 6 lenses
1.3mp vs 1.2mp front
The result is that the camera module alone is being sold for €300. So irrationale!

Anonymous, 02 Aug 2013 You are partial right but in the past Nokia never had suc... moreyou are talking of balance package?i had a note 2 and i am not agree with you because its not worth to buy samsung phone due to its low quality materials. try to fall your mother galaxy note 2 and you will see what are my basis of quality and the effects after fell. this will frustrate you of buying this phone. i didn't have any lumia but only nokia c6-01 and i assure to you that its tough even falling several times. the only upset was it's slower and no support already from nokia.
