now specs for L625 is out, Wifi hotspot is in its list.
So does 1020 really have wifi hotspot or not? it is not listed in the specification or anywhere on the internet.

Until windows come up with a good OS for phones, Nokia will remain a loser...
Nokia should give users an option to either install Android or Windows OS..
Its a pity to see a phone with good specs suck because of a stupid ugly OS.

I'm dissapointed... NO card slot and no java...
And most of all... It's Windows 8!
Nokia should abandon windows and start using android! Windows is pulling you down.. LOL

I have purchase nokia Lumia 720 after considering variours positive reviews, google flipkart rating and other online shopping website rating, gsm areana rating but after using phone i come to conclusion that all such ratings are fake and is used to boost up sales of product, my windows phone lacks very basic features which decrease its ratings to great extent.
1 file manager absent.
2 single volume control for both music and ringtone.
3 setting ringtone process is too complex.
4 calls recording, voice recording, calls duration absent.
5 windows phone designed for business users, further documents are store only in document folder in the phone memory. Cannot attach pdf file in an email. Documents are shown file wise not folder wise in the office. WinZip file cannot be assessed in this phone.
6 flash content of webpages not shown by this phone.
7 no common download folder in the phone, we does not where the file is download.
8 except reputed apps most of the apps in the windows phone store are related to camera and tiles shortcut.
9 for windows phone we have to depend on our personal desktop.
10 cannot access internet via usb on phone as well as desktop.
11 cannot read removable drives from usb.
12 not plays FLV videos file.
i want to tell something more than that.
i am also nokia lover but along with good hardware good software is also required.
windows phone 8 OS is too closed os we cannot customised is as per requirement.

its the most elegant OS..I dumped Andy just for windows feel...nd i dont regret it...6.1 MP carl zeiss easily beats Samsung galaxy's 8MP...and i hv seen Nokia 808 pureview camera..its even better than 12 MP sony cyber shot...and check online reviews, Lumia 1020 camera very easily beats Nokia 808 pureview camera...yes there is no file manager., and who needs it when u hv access to all docs and media from the apps....u only need file manager when u need to hide something in ur phone sd card...!!

[deleted post]agree with u, phone further does not have file manager and explorer, cannot attact pdf file in email, ringer volume and music volume works together, documents cannot save on sd card and further cannot accessed from sd card.

Raj, 25 Jul 2013Who told you that the phone has 2 core sleeping...this was stated on processor's manufacturer site (qualcomm) during 2 days following Lumia 1020 presentation event in New-York and was thereafter corrected. Windows in it's current version doesn't support any quad/octa+cores anyway. So it might be true that 2 of 4 cores are sleeping inside Lumia 1020, waiting for Windows update (GDR3) later this year to activate all 4 physical cores.

even if camera of lumia1020 great ,
but still its not good phone ,
because os is boring like hell ,
and no new gameloft high quality hd games
no operamini and other good apps
