the 1020 has better battery, i've heard s4's battery swells up, 1020 has 41 mp camera which is better than s4, windows app store is getting lots of new apps, i suggest you buy the nokia lumia 1020! its a great phone!

(waiting to try the 929/icon) and I have to say ive not seen a bit of difference in speed ...the operating system is perfectly matched with ths s4plus snapdragon clocked @ 1.5GHz as its less demanding...same as the apple iphone 5s @ 1.3GHz ....there is only one reason Nokia dropped a quad core in tje 1520 and the icon and that is to shut up the android loudmouth....dont get me wrong I use tne snapdragon 800 and I also own a snapdragon 801 device n yes yhey r fast...but the system demands it. ..and it also demands a 3000+ mAh battery to go with it where okus bodes great with the 2000mAh and iphone with its 1350mAh ..... (iPhone def needs to up this one) I the only question u need to ask thay will answer whether u need a quad core or s dual core windows phone is whether or not ule be running 10 or more apps at the same time? That is when u will notice the 1520 and the icon pull away from the pack of lumia models still boasting a Qualcomm snapdragon s4 plus.....hope this helps

hi all, plse note that the spec says contact storage is unlimited, but as per the information from nokia care the limit is only 1000 if you are using Microsoft account (all new Hotmail acccounts). this is ridiculous. one more thing may applicable to all lumia phones which are using Microsoft account. So be careful before u buy it

I've been using this phone since December and totally loved it!
so damn smooth! almost no lag!
great camera performance, especially after GDR3/Black Update... it's slow, but it's powerful...
anyway, if you're really concerned about the shoot-to-shoot time in the 1020, there's always the Smart mode/Nokia Smart Camera to the rescue
apps? all the useful apps I need are already here...
those who says that Windows Phone lacks apps are right - it lacks the junk apps that fills most of the Android stores

The numbers of cores only isn't the only criteria to take in consideration. Every 3-4 months always new devices are added with more and more cores.......
Like 1050 are also 1030, icon and maybe, must be conformed first, 1080 ???, but like 1020 there is nothing else,1020 is a unique device. However as our friend before posted depends on what you want and,or need. :):):) Al the best

Lag free, optimized UI so no lags. It depends on you whether you prefer a 41MP camera over a 20MP camera -which is also briljant- and/or a phablet over a regular sized smartphone. Either way it's a good Phone both 1020 and 1520.
