Was really hopeful that this phone and the windows platform would be the answer to my problems, having had issues with iPhones and a Sony Z. Unfortunately, it is prone to hanging and more so, freezing. It suffered a massive failure last weekend and it took three attempts to restore it (using instructions from the Nokia site). When it restored it had lost a whole bunch of photos. I have had three odd months of trouble with this phone. Look around the net and you'll see a load of issues of Nokia's freezing. The camera is good, not great, but it isn't worth the hassle of trying to live with the phone daily. Quite simply, this is one to keep clear of.

Hahahaha..trolls are back...iam using nokia lumia 1020 since 3 months.. not a single problem, awesome camera,awesome battery life with light use 2 days,wireless charging,free music free maps,very good OS smooth and fulid, no lags or hangs like android,i use note 2 too,i things windows Os is gr8. i shoot my wifes blogs pic with my lumia 1020. with nokia black update camera is even better. guiys dont believe these trolls iam sure they dont even own a lumia 1020 or can afford it..

Question for anyone who knows Nokia Lumia 1020
After I updated to black update my Bluetooth 4.0 cannot connect with any of my Bluetooth devices.
How can I fix this problem?
I have done hard reset 2 times and still the same
I have 4 Bluetooth devices and no one can connect.
Please help because I'm ready to trough this phone from my window in the highway.

I am a fan of Nokia. Recently I am sadded with their products releases.
I would have brought this mobile 1020, Only beacuse it do not have SD Cards Slot.

Nokia always brings tough durable with great build quality, not to mention the great camera on each Nokia phone and also sound quality, lumia 1020 nailed with the camera, but I'm not a fan of WP so far, I only wish for a 5-5.2 inch 1020, high end specs and top camera from Nokia running Android in the future.

jgg, 23 Jan 2014My friend has this phone and he says its the worse phone he... moreI bought this phone less than a month, spent half of it at Nokia care, problem still don't solve, camera no good, battery drain out very very fast even light user like me, Nokia staff advice to off all application to save battery, if this is the case, what's the point I spent so much for a Smart phone??? This is just a stupid phone, will try to see it ASAP.
