GTA, 25 Apr 2013does it have mobile data on/off configuration?Yes it has data on/off setting.. also some apps availble in store which give u shortcut for data, bluetooth, wifi on/off facility

l520 n l620 both are low budget phone so some features are nt availble in both.. they are perfect in its price range.. n do u want evrythng then defintly go for l720.. awsme phone yar.. just love it...

AnonD-47304, 25 Apr 2013i got this phone 1 day b4, it was heating as soon as i star... moreMay be u got defective handset bcoz m using it from past 2 weeks...it only heated up when I play high graphic games for long hour. Otherwise works fine..even heating doesnt cause any lag whatsoevr. I downloaded many apps n games n believe me m yet to experience a slightest lag in it. Its just tooo muchhh smooth.

I also want to buy dix phone b8 after my examz .. when i read people coments i got confuse b8 then wxp luver told me everythng ab8 l520 then I thought dat I wil buy it... I dont think so dat 520 has a heating problem.... if it has a little bit then it does not matter coz its a smartphone nd every smart phone get heated after 2'3 hourz... l520 has 8gb storage ... 5mp cam, 4 inch display,dual core proceser and a good battery backup .. I think now a dayz nobody iz listening fm radio cz everybody have his or her own songs collection,then what more we need??? It has everythng even its a budget phone ... I also like l520 coz it has a killer look nd i also lyk funky colourz ... I will buy dix or go for 720 after 2 months ....i will cz i believe dat nokia never cheat their customers :) !!!

i got this phone 1 day b4, it was heating as soon as i started using it out of the box, more so when i open any app using the internet. i was surprised when the night fell, i saw my soft touch key light weren't lighting up. it took it to nokia care, they said 7 days repair that it was a hardware problem. shame on u nokia for parking un-tasted phones

Day-before (Wed, 24th Apr evening) bought a Nokia Lumia 520. Its an awesome phone for this price range- I have already a lot of apps, about 7000 contacts (yes - 7k - but lots & lots & lots of duplicates)& also 7 email in boxes. Except one Yahoo account - all are working without a glitch and the speed is also also very fast - no lag at all!!
Even on a 2G connection, the email and the attachments were downloanding quite fast (same as an iPhone) but my Android Tab2 is cosniderably slowerthan the L520 in this department.
Earlier I was using a iPhone and I think the windows mobile 8 UI and features take some getting used to, but otherwise, it seems more smart and sensible than the iOS UI
There is all kinds of music in the Nokia store - all available for FREE. I found even a lot of very old (1960s, 70s) carnatic music there. Delighted !!
The speaker is quite loud, though I would have been happier to see a stereo. Camera is a bit dull, but about the same or a tad better than an iPhone 3GS
The call quality is a bit dull (sounds muffled) if the signal on either side is a bit weak or if the other person (Who is speaking is not speaking loudly or directly into the mike)- I never had this problem in any of my previous phones (iPhone 3GS, Blackberry Bold, or an Android Samsung Tab2). This is surprising since I would have expected Nokia to have better radio circuitry. Also, my old Apple's hands-free set does not work with this L520 (it can act as a music listening headphone, but the mic does not work, so it cannot be a hands-free)- but I am told that this is a problem with Apple that some of their handsets don't work with Competitors phone.
I have not yet checked it for performance in Games, and for the display effectiveness in bright direct sunlight yet.
