Oh, the one that I notice was if your Lumia had Lumia Amber, updated Extras+Info, the call+SMS blocker will be available.

It can be checked from Nokia website, look on support option. I updated to Lumia Amber on Lumia 520 at September 9, 2013 using Nokia Software Updater 4.0.1 installed on PC running Windows XP. When I plugged my Lumia to PC, it showed newer firmware was 3046.1329.0000.2002, I clicked update on the application, it downloaded 1,3 GB data. After finish installing it, the phone restarting and when I checked on The Extras+Info, there was "Lumia Amber" word. I got Data Sense, FM radio, flip to silent, etc.

You can also read pdf documents in sd card, office docs are not possible though.

Yes their is some bug in phone update option in L520..I had updated l520 to gdr3 via preview for developer..im using gdr3since a month..but just for a sake today I check for phone update it only "check for updates... "for long time and nothing happens..than I removed sim card from phone and switch it on..then again setting>phone update>clicked check for update..strange this time also after clicking check for update option, I see "checking for updates"..mean if had not inserted sim card and not using WiFi than how a msg appears on screen that checking for updates....?instead of this it should display an error that pls connect your phone to WiFi,or switch on your mobile data,or pls insert sim card....but strange it is not showing this error report..any one tried this in lumia520?if not than pls check this ..specially those who had gdr3 in their phone..

I am using the both Samsung Galaxy s duos and nokia lumia 520, comparing both i can told that the Windows Os is the best. The android is going slow and slow after installing some software but the lumia not give such feel. and also the lumia 520 having 512 mb ram. gmail in windows 8 is good..real push mail. and all i am going to like lumia than android.

Since cellphone started Im a nokia user from Nokia100,3210,5510I,3310 (old school mobile).. I just have Nokia Lumia 520 before my Birthday this year I won it in our company and I was so happy to have this mobile phone.. Very easy to use and most of all I love its camera..I look more pretier on it...Love to play games....
Bad with this is the apps...you nid to buy the most impt apps like the adobe flash player...that why I can download better games and watch movies....hope nokia give a good deal on free impt apps
