Not only WhatsApp this restriction is applicable for every third party app. And not only video but also audio files can't be send by WhatsApp. Not only sending you can't save received audio or video files

in your own definition Windows phone can't be called as a smartphone. Coz almost all operations need a pc.

A smartphone should make things easy not difficult. You can categorize based on genre. Keep swiping right and you will find genre.

I got the phone and had problems within the first week and got it replaced,then the second one lasted about 2 weeks and then gave problems again.This particular phone has made me never to want to own another Nokia phone again.

shadz, 07 Nov 2013this is a cheap phone but the quality is great. it has plen... moreI plan to go back to Android. Even people said Lumia 520 is great, I recommend Android. You said plent of apps, but most apps don't better compared to Android. WhatsApp don't have video files sending option (not recording), WeChat is the same too. Skype can't send a file, while Android can do this.
And the worst thing in my Lumia 520, it sometimes restart by itself without reason inserted no class microSD, previosly I used Galaxy Ace 2 with the same no class microSD I didn't face restart by itself. So my conclusion, Windows Phone is worse.

Most of the users want these features that's why File manager is the second most voted feature in windows user voice. And why are you comparing Windows phone with IOS. I think windows phone should compare with Android. Coz ios is for Premium users who considering it as a status symbol other than Usability. Categorizing simply doesn't mean what we see in Digital format. Just considering Windows phone Music hub, It may categorize mp3 by Albums, Artists etc but can't categorize as Melody, Devotional, POP, Rock etc, same happens with Video, pictures and other document files.
