Great phone,i m using this device for 3 months and fully satisfied with the processing speed,camera,touch,and specifically no hanging issues like android phone,previously i used android but lots of issues m faced,windows os is much secure and no lagging issues,ys less apps as compare to android but windows phone is their own taste..

windows has its own flavor. dont compare it with android otherwise you will not be able to enjoy it.
it has its own games. xbox and others temple run is there though temple run 2 is not there but there is rail rush. which is almost subway surfer with another theme. its a bit difficult when you move from android to windows.no android phone with this price tag can give you this camera quality.a screen which is touchable with your nails.so enjoy it.

if u update using OTA then u dont need to get backup..
if u flash it in care centre or by ur pc using software updater then it removes ur all content. at that time only u need to get backup.

2- microsoft makes gdr2 then nokia add their new features in gdr2 n makes its name as amber. so amber n gdr2 both r same update.. amber includes gdr2.
3- yes. u can do it using OTA (on the air) by using wifi.. not using 2g or 3g. only wifi.
4- if wifi is not availble n u hav 3g then put ths sim in another wifi enabled phone n turn On its wifi. conect n get ur update.

My mobile is not connecting to wifi at home
It was previously able to connect to the same n/w but now showing cannot connect bcoz server didn't respond pls try later.

Ok finally I got a notification for update today, so pls somebody should tell me what it's all about. Is it amber or gdr2? What's the size of the update? Can it be done OTA or must it be over WiFi? What are the steps to do the update successfully? Like do I need to do any back up or something? Just the steps pls. somebody help. Thanks
