The phone uses proximity sensors that detects when the phone is close to the ear and offs the light to avoid accidental key press while on call.

Users aren't ready with Windows Phone 7 or 8, but Microsoft did it by launching Windows Phone. If Microsoft can make Windows 7 smartphone (price like Lumia 520 or 620 or 625), I will support too.

Nokia 520 will not move from 15 percent when trying to download phone updates keeps telling me to connect to Internet when I am already connected 4 days now still stuck 15 .can I do anything without a full reset

"rail rush" game now available for lumia 520 for free. what r u waiting for...lumia fans? download it. more great games on the way with zero percent lag.angry birds go....i'm looking at you.guess my decision to go with this lumia 520 for rs.18,600 was the best ever decision i made. i'm loving it. four thumbs up for lumia 520..yes feet included :)

What a OS !! Almost at the end of 2013 this OS don't have a good media player which can play all formats of video... No opera, Firefox or a quality good browser (quite good is UC browser), can't access to all files in micro SD card (even all java 50$ phones have everything like copy paste good browser etc), can't send & move videos(downloaded), can't cut copy paste, lack of apps & free apps, Nokia is making such a charming phone but Microsoft is spoiling their whole Invention......
Microsoft just focusing on extra features without giving priority/attention on basic needs of major users at all, even old Nokia Symbian OS is more flexible than WP8. Nokia Symbian OS is still far far ahead than WP8 OS, It's a total waste of money if U buy a lumia series phone, I think it's better to go with asha series which will give U more flexibility ..... WP8 is totally a crap OS.

It has one demerit i.e. window mobile has lesser apps than android mobile.
