for specs wise n smoothness wise no1 dare here to touch wp8 os..
only fact is os is restricted for video downloading n sharing.. also whatsapp, wechat n facebook n other apps r still in development state.
microsoft restrict us coz of security reasons.
os lacks lots of thngs.. n ppl want updates frm microsoft to figure out frm ths thngs.
ms planning to give 3 updates i.e. gdr2,gdr3 (these r minor) and major wp8.1 updates.. bt ms takes long time to provide us.. n ths is thng that ppls r angry on ms here..
below rs. 20k all androids also junk.. totaly worse coz for smooth performance android needs higher ram n higher chipsets(quad core) n this specs r very expensive...
just wait 1 or 2 months to decide..
gdr2 amber update is coming in august or starting of september. after that u decide..
l520 is awsome in ths price range..

All the people out here cursing themselves for buying lumia 520 and searching out for the baseleaa didadvantages, just for once look out the money u have taken out of your pockets to but this phone. U haven't bought something like an i-phone or elite Lumia 1020. Lumia 520 is the best among it's slot. No company is gonna offer u this much for 9500 INR. U gotta spend something like 35 bucks for the features u screaming for
