There have been no bug fixes or feature additions since 2009. So how can they support Windows Phone? It is an ELEVEN year old OS.

I said the video is owned by the respective company and can remove an app if it wishes. You bought a phone, not the videos. IF you bought videos you have the right to copy them to your devices.

can u delete all updates.. no na. u tel ppl to by current version coz it is improved. ths thng ms doing here..
xp is old n outdated os.
w7 n 8 do everythng which xp do. more than xp
N they invest lots of money, man power n time to make w7 n 8.. so why not?
n w7 is more famous than xp.. only w8 fame is loss so to improve it they launch w8.1 for pc

means if ur file is .wmv then system not recognise it properly coz music file also have ths extention so system consider it as music file n it stores in music hub..

In the same way Microsoft restricted installation of Google chrome in Windows 8 Desktop... But Google find an alternative way to install... They value customer interest... But Microsoft is trying to force their customers fit into their policies... We all know Windows XP is still the second most used OS... But Microsoft not providing any pc solution for using wp8 devices with XP... They forces the users migrate to windows 7 or 8... Microsoft should value customer interests and needs...

by default ms nt gives this feature coz ms is authorised company..
i thnk ther is major issue facing ms behind ths. in ths world lots of terms n conditions applied.
for example-
in last month microsofts official youtube app goes at top in wp store coz it allows video downlding at that time.. in two days google and youtube send letter to ms to remove ths app. n google said u nt remove then we file case against ms.. and in next update ms remove all options frm youtube app.. coz youtube video downlding is not legal.
then u tell me wht ms do for that.. bt ms nt want apply ths to 3rd party developers.
u got my point..
thngs r nt straight as u thinking here.. ther r lots of legal, ilegal, terms facing ms daily.. coz ms is big company.
bt app developers r nt famous coz evry1 develope these apps.. so big companies nt considering that.. coz u knw lot of youtube downldr apps also present in android app store then why google n youtube remove ths apps coz its googles platform.
behind the scene lots of thngs happens daily.. we cant ignore that..

IF a party wishes, they can get any app removed from the store, if it violates terms. Samething happened with official Youtube app. But if the OS does it, it will become a disaster.
Piracy isn't there and lot of people are satisfied. Only people like you who want pirated and free things keep grumbling. Sales are not going down either. So respect someone else' rights and stop complaining.

If the video has the same extension as image or audio it goes to those hubs, not video hub. So your point is meaningless. Videos can be shared, if they are personal or if they are in some app. They can't be non-personal.

If u download it from ie its piracy, if u do d same uc its legal.

But there UC browser and many YouTube download apps in windows store... That allows to download video in little difficult way... So piracy is allowed by Microsoft, but in a little difficult way...
and the result : piracy is still there... Users feels bad about Microsoft And result in decreased sales and bad impression about the OS...
if Microsoft really want to stop piracy. restrict all video downloading apps... Else allow it by default... Taking double stands only help to create a Bad impression on customers...
