I am currently using L520 for more than 2 weeks.And,now I know what is the real OS.Such super-sensitive touch,decent battery backup,quality apps,smooth and attractive user interface,no lags-hangs,speedy performance,most stable and secure OS, handy and stylish outlook with some premium service(from Nokia) and best after-sale support service makes Lumia attractive and very very special for most people.
Some days ago,I read an article,where a well-known market-research company showed and talked about Nokia Lumia with other OS market-share.That told that in western country,49% sales increase for Nokia Lumia. L521 sealing like hotcake and the L920 is a hot frvt mobile.The research company also told that,23% came from feature phone user and rest was android user,who switch to Lumia(yes,u r reading right)!!
In India,L520 sales in 1st quarter was 4.4% market share among all handsets and at the 2nd quater it is just double!!
And,not only that.World famous BlackBerry handset sales is now just half of Nokia Lumia!!Is not it makes you wonder?
Every OS has it’s own pros and cons. Such,Nokia lumia (or,any other windows phone) have.But,you should remember that the Windows 8 is in very childhood stage. And,you should never expect android/iOS like out-of box experience,number of apps,low cost handset etc etc.
Android have some major problems. uncountable malwares,frequent hang,crappy apps,boring user interface makes diggs for itself. Even Samsung Galaxy S3 hangs several times!!

No all users have PC. I almost disappoint using Windows Phone 8, I can't see or read my files, my documents, and others on microSD. Documents files should be in SkyDrive or phone memory in order to view or edit via Office.

Just a searching app costs RS 110... that's why everyone saying Android is better... In wp8 poor underperforming apps and that too highly paid... HI guys,
People who are blaming this handset or giving negative about this handset it is clearly showing that they don no how to use the windows phone. windows is tricky and special in customization in that lumia 520 is showing his performance in my hand. So people i am requesting you don give negative feedback so others can use it and enjoy it.

Lumia 520! The ultimate useless thing from Nokia!
1. You don't get access to your OWN docs on the sd card! There is no Explorer or File manager or any other option for you to use directly the docs on the sd card other than music and videos! The only way to get access to the docs on the sd is to create an account with Microsoft, upload your docs on THEIR server and then download them to the memory of the phone.
2. The sd card can not be inserted in a simple way from the side of the phone, but you have to take off the cover and the battery.
3. It is diabolically created that there is no classic way of opening the back cover so you get to use some tool that will eventually crack the display.
