Can I expect an update in future that can enable me to lock or set a password for a particular app in Windows phone OS or is it totally impossible because the apps runs on sandbox.I'm not talking about third party apps to get access like that but can windows do it by their own through an update in the future and an option like that appear in our phone settings.Thank you

If you choose Lumia 620, you can't have file manager, limited function, miss many basic functions, some apps are still under Android. If you choose Android, Xperia M is a good choice.

****Steps for amber update (lumia 620 and other lumia devices)*****
1.Initially download install the Nokia Software Updater Retail 3.0.4 (from songsmetro.com -on software link section) or direct link http://songsmetro.com/nsuretail/nokia%20software%20updater%20for%20retail%203.0.4.rar
2.It will prompt for new version of nokia software update retail, then update the Nokia Software Updater Retail.
3. Now connect ur lumia 620
3.It will update the firmware version from 1030.6407.1308.0001 to firmware version 1030.6407.1308.0002 (the software version is 1.26GB in size and backup ur contacts ,photos etc & ur laptop must be connected to internet)
4. After the above update, Now Check for updates from nokia lumia phone go to-> settings->updates and update the phone (ur lumia phone must be connected to wifi)
5.Finally u will be updated with Nokia Amber software.
6.It worked for me and many other lumia users.
7.Final firmware version after amber update will be 3046.0000.1329.20xx.
8.Follow the above procedure.
9.Enjoy!!!

Dude,Did you update your device via Wi-Fi or softw... morefirstly we need to update the firmware from ver 1030.6407.1308.0001 to ver 1030.6407.1308.0002.
which can be only done through nokia software updater retail(using ur pc or laptop-in this case ur laptop must have internet connection)
next after the above update is completed.use ur lumia phone and check for the update (u should have wifi connection to ur cell phone).then a update will take place which is amber software and the version number has been mentioned on point no.7(last post).

and firstly updating with the nsu(nokia software updater) i updated phone with wifi (its around 295 mb in size). this may help you

after getting amber update battery backup have got improved,cant belive i charge my phone after 9 to 10 hrs after using it.
