I purchased lumia 620,after going through the reviews from gsm arena, but was disappointed a bit, as, my hangs on, sometimes, wen trying to connect to Wi-Fi, or even wen trying to connect to 3G.
I only tried once video chat with Skype, and the video, or screen got blank, doesn't respond, even pressing on the lock screen, then automatically it comes back, and this repeated couple of times.
really I don't know wats happening on, even though I doesn't use any application, the battery only last for a day,
it will be gr8 if some one can advice, for a better performance.

AnonD-126666, 24 Aug 2013I read your comments of battery performance of u'r 620 was ... moreI also had that issue at the start, battery used to drain quickly with 6-8 hrs on normal usage. But after the whatsapp and amber update, I am seeing increase in battery life. Please understand that there is nothing you can do in WP to increase your battery life other than turning off the wifi, bluetooth and tap+send when not required. You can go in settings-applications-background app and block a few apps, since WP doesn't have real time multitasking, it doesn't make any difference how many apps are currently running.
But keep in mind that your battery will drain out soon if your start to play games or surfing the web via browser. I am not a gaming person from the start and have lessened my dependence on IE, by using other apps(which don't include other browsers, only apps). Other thing I noticed is if you charge via usb port of PC, your battery will last longer as compared to charging from a wall charger. This working for me, hope it works for you too.

if interd a 20 page in internet you must press back back back until the program close((no fast way to end programes))>>> Hit the three dots, select tabs, close the open tab, and hit the back button. no need to go back back back.
if there is an internet in phone,and message from Facebook or whatsapp came .i don't know about messages until i entered the application ,no apdate for messages >>> That why you have the option to pin it to the homescreen, so that you will know what and where you have received the messages.
and a few problem comparing with android>>> Yes, its a new OS, and though its not developing at the rate we had hoped, but its developing for sure.

Good har... moreNot fault of the phone, but only yours phone, I have around 50 apps constantly on WiFi, last charged 6 hrs ago and still 47% left. Your PCB is probably fried due to a power surge. Go to the service center, tell them exactly that there was a power surge and now your phone heats up and drains within 2 hrs, they will replace the PCB. And since this is your second phone, I say get your house wiring checked, or simply charge it via PC or a Laptop rather than wall charger.
