I experienced hanging several times in a day and sometimes unexpected restarts too. mostly it happens internet apps like UC browser, WhatsApp, Wechat, Hike etc... Hangs with UC browser is very often. If you wanna really experience it, go to Facebook using UC it hangs with in a few minutes and leads to the entire phone hang...

On morning today, my Lumia 520 got hang, when I turn on celluar data, it received some emails, chats, Line (together), then I open Line, it hang several minutes, so I restart by pressing and hold lockscreen button for several second, very ling press.

Hey apprentice i hav an issue with my battery performance as it drains quickly even whn the phn is idle and data connection is off....also whole phn get heated while surfing even the screen....

it's to bad nokia sucks bcoz there's no update to integrate fm app & it's meaning less to release amber update without fm & double tap to wakeup feature unavailabity

Choose your region and see the status. Many countries are still "waiting for approval". Yes, Amber Update has been rolled out, but the question is have countries that got Amber Update apply to their Lumias or not.

The apprentice, when i contacted nokia care i was told that amber update is rolled out to all wp8 devices. But my device doesn't report any update news to me. So i need to know - 1) What is the firmware version after updating to amber as my firmware version is still 1038.0001 ? 2)What are the changes that were made after the update. Please help me out.

[deleted post]Just a reply to the apps comment. Most of the 'nice' apps are not free on android also. The point is that you can easily get infected apks for the paid apps from the apps and that is not the case with windows phone.

No matter what you do. NEVER GET A WINDOWS PHONE. I have a Lumia 620 and my life is miserable. This is the worst mistake I have made my whole life

Now after so much of research came back to Nokia. Very good features by very poor battery. Claims 9.5hrs for3g but hardly get 3or4hrs. Within a week of buying I now want to change and go for some normal keypad phones with good battery. Any suggestions ?
