Guys, solution for whatsapp notification is to do soft reset by pressing volume down and power button same time and hold for while till phone vibrates.

About switch off itself than I should pull out battery and put it again I have experienced once too. On August 4, 2013 I hard reset Lumia 520, till now I haven't experience automically restart itself again yet.

i was chatting on whatsapp and screen goes blank later came to knw its actually swchd off....
second i put my phn on charging after few min whn i get back , the phn was off even though lumia doesnt remains off while charging....

1) Overheating - You already know how to check
2) Too many apps running in the background - settings-application-background apps (block the ones that are not needed)
3) Corrupted app files - If you phone reboots after launching a particular app, try reinstalling it.
4) Memory full - You already know how to check
I am betting on the 2 option.

sandy, 05 Aug 2013i want to buy lumia 620 so plz suggest me can i bought it o... moreif ur using android before then certainly u wil be disappointed by this fone....but the windows phn are good , good interface, never lags like android (of this range), very user friendly, but surely u wil miss some apps , games and some basic functions which even symbian phn hav....but once u get into it...u wil love it....
