windows phone whatsapp problem is whatsapp problem not windows phones problem. the OS is new and going through upgrades. windows phone 8 is much better than wp7. i tell u in the nxt 2yrs. you wouldnt be missing a thing using a windows phone. i use a lumia 620 presently, and its cool. planning to upgrade to l720 soon.

If you have noticed when you open Whatsapp with the default access point settings, you will not be shown online immediately majority of the times. It will take about a minute to go online.
But when you manually configure the access point of your operator, you will notice that whatsapp will go online immediately on opening it.
So configure the access point manually of your operator, I think it will solve the problem to a major extent.

I use default access point, when micro SIM card inserted, it detected automically. Sometimes if I ask about this, call canter people of network operator don't about this, so I rather choose silent and use WhatsApp although one a day maybe the issue appears again.

Check your access point settings...set it up manually if you are using the default settings that came on the lumia

The 'not connected' state might be due to the default access point setting...

Naaz the other diffs btwn the l520 and l620: 520 has a very sensitive screen that works wn wearing gloves; it has no compass; no NFC, nw has radio due to the Amber update; highly reflective screen; 620: compass, NFC, no radio, better screen quality

Hi every one, I am having a problem with internet sharing in Lumia 820. Whenever i tap on to Internet sharing it reflects "Internet sharring is not currently available" while i was able to share internet on Lumia 520 having the same Airtel sim.
Please help if anyone has solution.
