Either you will have to visit the Store on your phone, which will display the available updates at the bottom, or simply pin the Store Tile to your start screen. Also please note that the App updates roll out differently for different markets. So yours may take some time to show up.

If you like easy to manage files, file manager available, apps support (many apps), go for Sony Xperia go. If you don't care about managing files, like faster performance, but no many apps compared to Android, you can go for Lumia 620.

How is one notified regarding updates for different apps? Whenever I visit the store, I get notification for updates for only Nokia apps...
I am just reading that the new Facebook app from Microsoft is out of beta, I already have this app but there is no notification regarding an update...

rishi1, 01 Jul 2013My L520 also heats up.Is it normal ?If its heats up near the camera, then its normal. If it heats up above battery then its not.
If it heats up to some extent then its ok, if it heats up to an extent where it can fry and egg, then its not.
If it heats up while playing games and surfing web on 3G its ok. But if it heats up while you don't do anything then its not.

i was facing the same problem when i bought lumia 620
but after 2 weeks the battery works fine
it can give you around 20-22 hrs of standby time
So be patient and give it few days and if still the problem persist , visit nokia care
