if u cant wait for the OTA update in india then you can update it through NOKIA SOFTWARE RECOVERY TOOL,i had just updated my L620 through nokia software recovery tool,it took much time but finally got updated...i am just loving cortana..download it from here

download nokia software recovery tool, install it then connect your phone via usb cable. download file will 1.51 gb.
i have updated my phone, it works smoothly.

Mitish, 26 Aug 2014I am trying to update my phone to 8.1 through recovery tool... moreGo to settings of that software nd click clean and then once remove your device and plug it again it will show that same thing on one or time after that it will show to install the latest package don't worry you need not reset your phone before doing this .

Updated through the Nokia Software recovery too .

I updated it through the nokia software recovery tool, once you you install it on yur computer and connect yur phone to it than it will ask you to instal the latest package on your phone , than it will flash your mobile (will delete all your files on your phone ) and update it to Lumia Cyan

Nokia Lumia 620 is not available yet on phone, only on websites.
If you want to update your phone via nokia care centre, they will charge you Rs. 100 for under warranty phone.
it doesn't matter if you have extended warranty. They will charge you anyway.
