AnonD-126666, 16 Apr 2013@TheApprentice should I buy 720 from online shopping sites ... moreDoesn't matter from where you purchase, be sure you ask for a proper bill with applicable VAT mentioned on the bill. Make sure you ask the seller to write/print the IMEI of the phone on the bill with the stamp of seller shop on it. If possible buy it with a debit or credit card, so that you will have another proof of your transaction. Keep these all documents in the phone box itself and keep the phone box some place safe. Whenever you to Nokia Care, carry that entire box with all the documentations present. Though only the bill is sufficient, but you don't want to give them any ammo for doubt that you hadn't bought this. I buy all my stuff online. If you are buying it from multi seller sites like ebay, ask the seller to first send you a photocopy of the receipt that has the bill, IMEI number, applicable VAT and the stamp of his shop. If you are buying from a single seller sites like flipkart don't worry, they will make sure you will get all the necessary documents, if you don't, you can call them up and they will help you.
And I think they are lying just to tarnish the image of Nokia, must be Samsung fan boys.

@ Nil.. Hey I too have faced the same problem. my screen is now completely black-out after I updated. its true guys, there Is a serious problem with this updates. I am now going to nokia care and see how they can help me out :(

or try to show this problem to main care center of nokia in other city or metro city if you got warranty card in box then only

i purchased this phone last month, but the piece i got was defected its back cover was loose.. so i returned it to shopkeeper and he returned phone to company, and he said that company will replace it but after 1 month i didn't get my cell... worst experience ever... bad service by nokia

Hi
I use this phone of 10 days and found that this phone so sensitive that on normal use phone keys get loose. On this I contact Nokia care and told them about this and ask them to fix my phone. First answer I get my phone is not in warranty (even it only 10 day back buy it). No one in Nokia is ready take responsibility of this defect. This is the worst experience I have in my life about any company service. Nokia is providing worst service to their customer.
