The catch is there is a limit to the number of songs u can skip in an hour while listening. So u cant really choose what u want, and for a completely users choice and unlimited skipping version u will have to upgrade and pay.
And dont go by what ur friends say...especially if they are android users and are first time smartphone users, bcos once u buy a l620 or any wp8 u will stand out from the crowd unlike their black and white slabs.
As far as resale value, theres no word byond nokia in reliability and brand value , lumia itself is a huge brand and the resale value wont be bad at all especially with l620 already being so popular and windows and nokia giving support to their phones for like 2 years making itp uptodate.
As far wp8 itself, it has grown tremendously in past few months, almost like doubled. Its already got double digit market share in most european and latin american countries. And in a recent survey conducted throughout the world, a much higher % of users are happy with their wp8 os than those who bought android(mainly due to its lag, instability and security issues)

L800 got 6 ppi more than l620, such a small difference wouldnt even make a difference to our eyes so dont consider it while buying. And is that only difference u could actually find between the two?

I think between the Lumia 800 and Lumia 620, for addiotional phone. L800 has G. glass and more ppi, but like wirelles charge and changeable shell with L620.

I have been using Nokia mobiles since years and buy no other mobile brand. Currently using Nokia E5 which I plan to upgrade to Nokia Lumia. I was planning to buy it coz of Nokia brand not luv for windows - but frankly, I have not used wp os, so i have no idea how it is. But all my friends are advising me against it - they say its a flop os and to buy android mobile. My friends say windows phone sales are few and not much resale value with it. While going through various opinions here, I find that Nokia is trying its best to make wp work - while Microsoft's attempts at wp improvements are half hearted. Currently even radio is not there - I dont care about future radio promises coz who know who is living till then and online radio will increase my internet bills. Just one question, is Nokia Music permanently free with Lumia or for few months only??? If free for few months only, then what will be the Nokia Music charges later. I am sure about Nokia quality but confused about wp... I have decided to wait for few days before purchasing....

I have tried it in WP 7.8
In WP 7.x devices, one can transfer document files to PC via cloud only but in WP8, you can transfer any file to PC using USB. Windows 7 and 8 on PC detects WP8 in MTP mode (proprietary standard of MS equivalent to mass storage mode)

[deleted post]Flipkart is loosing credibility over time. Lumia 620, Xperia Z like devices are officially launched and already available in India across many other online and offline stores yet Flipkart is still talking preorders. Prices are also on a higher side of spectrum than other stores.
