Hi All,
I have spoken Nokia customer care ppl he said phone Launch us MID Feb no exact date but i have contacted a Nokia Priority dealer he told me Last week of Feb.Eagerly waiting for L620 .All reviews are xtremely postive.Price is around 14to16K itseems.

Nokia Lumia 620 will be launched 2/9 tomorrow in Indonesia. It's IDR2.845.000 or about US$296.

1) WP8 is relatively new, they had very little time to save Nokia from dying out. Because death of Nokia means, death of WP. Others were already on Android wagon, therefore they had to pace things around and bring to market whatever they had. So I am guessing they must have had very little time to test, code and manufacture quads as well as duals. Since they were going to release low end, which usually have duals, they stuck with duals for the high end as well, since it saved a good amount of time and money. Consider this as public beta of WP8. It will get mature and more stable with time. We might get to see the quad core ones in MWC this year. Lets see.
2) At the end of the day, does it really matter how many cores and gigs you had under your phone? No. what matters is irrespective of hardware specifications your phone ran smooth all day and it satisfied your needs, be it gaming or just a general usage. If an OS is able to run smoothly even on dual cores, satisfying need of every type of person, why to waste money and resources(which Nokia is drastically sort on supply) just to make a show off, that can be done later, which again I think will be the centre point of MWC this yearn now that nokia and ms are in good position. Instead, that money was used to make innovations like, pureview, clear motion hd, clear black, polycarbonate unibody and others. I say money well spent. It shows nokia might be down, but not out. Nokia has done more innovation last year than Samsung which is currently no.1
My assumption is based on this that Window phone 9 required Quad-core processor.
Window 7- Single core
Window 8- Dual Core
Window 9- Quad Core
We'll get some update but it will be 8.5 or 8.x something and I am satisfied with that. - Fresh update in: - Microsoft is in plans to combine all three OSes, Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Windows RT. What does that mean?
1)They are going to follow the desktop model of updating their OS across all devices and computers. New version after 4-5 years with backwards compatibility as well. That means it will be a significantly longer time for even our low end hardware to become obsolete. Just after so many years Apple said that iPhone and iPhone 2G won't receive further updates, look at how long they have stretched those devices.
2) Just like our Windows OS get service packs as an upgrade and minor updates keep on arriving, Windows Phone 8 will also receive the same Service Packs and minor updates, only this time they won't be having service packs, they will be having names. The first one is named "Blue", and the some minor updates have already arrived in name of "Portico" and another one is in pipeline called "Apollo+".
3) Here is an extract from the article in WPcentral related to the Blue update: -"Blue will also include kernel and driver-level improvements, which are planned to affect battery life and overall performance, but backward compatibility with Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 is priority. Lastly, instead of Windows 9, 10, 11 as successors after Blue, Microsoft will be looking at releasing upgrades, in favour of new versions of Windows to help prolong the life of Windows 8."
But again I am not a genius but i am quite sure this will happen. - Neither am I, just that I get free time during my dialy commute to read stuff and stay updated. Yes it will happen, but have the peace of mind that it will happen after a long long time.

Otherwise i will go to s... moredont ever make the mistake of buying a WP manufactured by any other oem other than nokia. i made the same mistake of buying a samsung wp and now i m not getting nokia specific important apps that are not avail for samsung,htc and will never come. though i think 14-15k is the ideal price, anything over that will be a bit too much. price will eventually come down.

If the phone price goes above Rs.17K. Buying Lumia 820 is better. Reasons
