Just had a chat with Nokia care executive and got confirmation that Lumia 620 will be available by 11th Feb and pricing not confirmed yet between 13-15K

Today a priority dealer in delhi said that it will be available from 10/11th feb as stock has arrived in their stores but after the official statement from Nokia they will start selling it...just 2-3 days to go...:)

I had a htc desire c. Its slow as hell. I ditched that for this, and i have to say this phone is AWESOME. Way better than that desire c crap. Faster, better battery, sexy. Btw windows phone is really cool and attractive. For budget smartphones, please DO NOT buy an android, its very slow on cheap budget phones. Get wp, like this one.

Lets hope it does.

If you are telling on the basis of WP 7 and 8. Let me enlighten you. Windows Phone 7 was based on CE kernel, which was limited in functionality, while WP 8 is based on newer NT kernel, the same kernel on which Windows OS is based. So there is no chance that there will be another kernel just for mobile phones. NT kernel is limitless, for ex it supports machines upto 128 cores cpu, you can check the rest out on google. Other than that MS doesn't let others play with their UI, this might be a limitation, but due to this the updates are rolled out faster, update for all devices remain the same cause the OS remains the same, no matter which level of phone you have. If its running WP8, you will get the update. Of course I can compare Android with WP. I am comparing two OSes. Who likes what is their choice I agree. But since both are OS, its a valid comparison.

Even MS had not given any hint about Windows 9. As 7.5 users got 7.8 on their Nokia handsets, in the same way, Windows 8 users will also get future updates.
U are comparing Windows 8 as sweet dish & Android as Spicy. LOL. We all know, what Android is! We don't want Android anymore & are looking for Windows 8. Although it is new, we should give them some time to explore. Considering Windows, I hope, they won't let us down.

So, I think this is a good time to try Window 8.(it is new & we'll get maximum update support)
and about Android , Android is totally different thing you can't compare these two OS. It is like comparing Sweet dish with Spicy food, both are for eating but some like sweet and some like spicy.
In my case I want to try as many as OS not a particular OS

Its selling like hot cakes, with a chocolate sause. Its getting 9/10, 4/5 and 4.5/5 marks from all the reviewers. Nokia must have not expected this much popularity and that many sales figures. Other than that, no matter how Android tries it can't bring a good piece at this price point, even if they do, it won't be future proof, will get old within a month or so and you will hear the same old words "Your hardware is not supported for future updates, and hence we are not giving you any". This is why even if it is taking long, I am waiting for this. As I know that this will be worth a wait. Rest is up to you.

I am seriously annoyed by Nokia behavior.

Ok, So germans getting on 11th Feb, Australians getting on 22nd Feb. No sign of India release, are we again gonna get this after the entire world has received it? Even after the US, who was last according to Nokia when it was launched? :(
