Lets hope it's launched somewhere near the price range of 14k in India. It's gonna be a huge huge hit, also the WP UI is just awesome. Why buy an Android in the same price range and then try to hide the fact that the device lags way too much by showing the number of apps in Google Play.

Now, they should mover forward and make applications for Windows Phone platform as well. Android has thousands of free applications because Google supports freeware providers. People from third party and those who have interest in writing programs should step ahead and make apps for Windows Phone platform. Microsoft should support and appreciate their work like Google does. And this is the only way to make Widnows Phone a competitor of android in regard of applications and games.

Atif, 06 Dec 2012They must have provided Radio and a better batteryNo radio is the limitation of Windows Phone 8 OS. A patch in future might fix this issue on Windows Phone 8 based handsets depending upon whether they have hardware for radio or not.
Windows Phone relatively consumes lower power than android. And it also depends upon hardware. A better hardware consumes lesser power. Therefore, I guess the phone battery shall be enough for 1 or 2 or more days. It merely depends upon how much you use it.

Why people keep on bashing on Nokia? I guess they all they loves 4cores,5cores,8cores ;))! They love their battery juice sinks to almost nil with couple of hours! Dual core, quadcore krait processor! Damn it people! Its a bluddy telephone! What else do u want from it?ha? It serves all the requirements n communication access! Social n all! Someday what all u people will ask fr? Riding these quadcores 8cores procssors n going to distant planet? Keep it simple frenz! Dnt make it complicated! Lol

I had a lumia 800 nd i loved it. Its a great piece of beauty and the OS is very intuitive. Really dint bother bout much games though so many time killing games n excellent quality apps are there in marketplace with constantly increasing nokia collection too. Especially ringtone maker and upcoming blue manager.
But wen i.saw n9 i thought multitasking is very great n important in daily life and wowed with open ecosystem. Later whenever i launch an app, open a dialer, click on anything wont be so fast n i feel a bit annoying sometimes wen it delays to do simple activities. Now started regretting the loss of lumia. I dint recommend anyone to buy a wp 7.5 due to microSD n no bluetooth buy now
I 100%RECOMMEND YOU TO BUY A WP DEVICE N U LL BE AMAZED FOR SURE.

as expected..popularity of nokia phones here is just temporary. a couple of hours ago it was no.1 but right now it is in no3 spot.tsk.tsk

Note is amazing as form factor an versatility, c7 is usefull in many sense but what I saw in wp is different from both. When I use for my first time a lumia 800 I've had the sensation that the operating system and pjone itself are one. Yes I know there is only an illusion but the felling is interesting

But quality of dedicated apps (sans games) is top notch. Just compare any app, accuweather, facebook, zomato.. just for example.. 95% apps have better quality on WP than their android counterpart. Again same may be paid on WP but free on Android but quality is certainly better. Games are horrible though. But situation is improving. EA and many developers have announced many new titles for WP8. 40 xbox compatible games are coming in next couple of months alone according to announcement during WP8 launch.
Also, many people who are into technology believes that quantity of apps especially games will increase rapidly in coming days as it WP8 shares same kernel (windows NT) with its desktop counterpart (W7 and W8) and porting of code is very easy between these two platforms.
