for those wanting to play wma music in this phone. You have to install 3rd party music player. Try downloading at www.dotsis.com this place is a must! for cellphone lovers. N70 is a nice phone. All I need is in this phone. right now it is the cheapest Nseries phone with 3g, front cam and back cam 2.0 mp. What i like most with N70 or Music Edition is Symbian Applications and Ngage Games and Symbian games. The graphics are nice especially in 3D. reminds me of Playstation 1.

N70 is not responsive when opening gallery especially in images and video. In my phone it takes 5-10 seconds for thumbnails to appear after taking pictures and video. Try unintalling Symantec security the antivirus that came with n70 or n70 music edition and change it to Simworks antivirus. That will increase the speed. N70 has a 220mhz ARM processor, this is fast compared to 6600 and 1st ngage running at 104mhz. the problem is the way they built the OS for N70 cuz it has a small cache for thumbnails of pictures and video. Also the graphical interface is quite similar in the current Nseries ( such as True type Fonts, Nseries 3D icons, Scalable skin support (6680 does not have this) And is not optimized for 3d Java games but optimized for Symbian application and games.

had/used the N70 for 2 years.
Great phone, easy to use, expandable memory, good camera, long battery life.
Only problem i had is the thin coating peeling/scratching off. that and after 2 years, the reception/signal suddenly cut off. tried to get it repaired and they told me it can't be fixed :S not sure if it was just bad luck or a fault by nokia. either way, i think i will look elsewhere for next phone.

this phone is slower that my gandmothers turtle. to open gallery opens after 20sec.. to open photos another 50sec. music too.. its too slow. and camera not bad but not good either! and they say that if you update the software to music edition it fix. not true. music edition itself its slow too..

hi i currently have w810i but i wanna buy n70 because w810 can't store msgs on memory card.....now can u guys tell me abt N70 music edition and wat is the main difference between N70 simple and music edition...how can i differentiate between them by physically looking at it...because my frnd owns one and he claims that it is music edition but it doesnot seem different from N70 simple edition...only casing color is change....can u guys help!!!!!!!

n70 do not have expandable memory upto 4GB but only upto 2GB also the operating speed is slow

this phone is great!!! I really love it... nice features, the music is very great and also the camera and the video,, so if u want to buy nokia phone, i suggest to buy the nokia N70 music edition coz its the best phone...

Sorry for wrong spelling hehehe. I had n70 for 2years now. Still many new apps and games pop up for this phone. I got even Fifa 2009 and Asphalt 3 and Many Ngage games for it at www.dotsis.com nice graphics and speed. Ive seen K800 and tried using it. Its faster in opening menus, messaging, and other stuff. While n70 loads like a PC when opening menus and other stuff. Camera is 3.2mp while n70 has 2.0mp. N70 has a beautiful apperance comapared to k800. Both of them are good quality phones. If your a photographer and music lover go for k800 cuz it has Memory Stick Micro (M2) 2gb or more. while n70 also good for photos, music and max dv-rsmmc 2gb . n70 advantage it is built in symbian os thats why it has lots of application. I you like symbian go for n70 cuz it has lots of themes, symbian apps ang games for it. Try got to www.dotsis.com. If u prefer Java go for sony ericcson k800. K800 may be faster but N70 is the better cuz many stuff u can install in it.

this phone is great... although it is kinda slow. but got the phone update. it was little faster. the 3D is not quite good. but yea.. overall a very great phone to use

Found out the firmware wasn't that old,I have 5.0638.3.0.1.,so it works kinda slow...because that's how it works :D .
I can't wait to se it perform when i'll put a 1 gb card in it,i can't wait for those thrills !

Excellent phone. I am using it for all it can be used. A bit old but it does anything on communication: edge, gprs, bluetooth, link with computer. I even used as wap modem via bluetooth, as free of charge mobile internet.
