hi.
just have a question. whenever i install themes on my phone, the picture on that theme goes to my image gallery and whenever i scroll through my pictures I see the themes image on the menu and so it lags the scrolling time. does anyone know how to correct this or is there anything that i should do so that it won't happen again?. its kinda annoying.

even on the manu... moreNoidea, i don.t think its correct. The volume keys can be used for zooming function of pictures but you can't zoom video.
Now about not seeing instructions in manual, i've stopped looking for that. If u ever use samsung phones you'll notice that the manual is useless. In fact, d900 has practically nothing in its manual. It was one Mr Rajesh that prepared one for users on gsmarena d900 forum. We need ppl like that here.

I also have this phone for a week now and having no problems such as freezing, lagging, mp3 or video problems stated by other users. Using the latest firmware 12.046 still having smooth operation.
What the other n78 users have experienced is maybe a software glitch or they had bought a factory defect phone, I suggest to ask for a replacement if it still under warranty.
FP2 OS seems stable to me seems faster and smoother compared to FP1 phones, other 3rd party application may not work because its a new OS.

im using the both phone n91 and n78 the audio playback is same...with n78 you can watch any flash online web videos with your web browser..wmv format is also play able with real player..and if you like FAKE bass you should go for sony ericsson w series..n78 is as loud as n91..im usin the both..n81 doesnt sounds much these..if any body havin problem with your n78 upgrade your firmware to 11.043

i've using this phone already 1 week, i cant found any problem on this phone, the sound quality is good enough, camera quality is also good after you've adjusted it. i would like to recommend to those who gonna buy this phone that just take your mind up. The design is also very nice. 100% marks i will give this phone 99%..

Its seems to be the unstable of new symbian s60 OS 9.3 FP 2 causing the problem?Any comment from n79,n85 or n96 users?should i go for n81 8gb or n78?does latest firmware of n81 8gb feature flash lite 3.0?

this mobile is showing many software issues...as said by many users, it really tilts my mind to buy N81 8gb instead of this N78. Or i shoul go with 5320???

anyone else having a problem with the bass on music playback?
i've tried several sets of headphones to rule out them but i'm getting like a tinny vibrating sound for bass, it's not as crisp as it should be. It's not to loud and i've tried all the settings but still the same.

Any1 having trouble with deleting bad/broken pictures or phone freeze?
I've updated the firmware, resetted the system without any luck.
When I try to delete a picture it says "System error - General error" ??
And when I use the music player it sometimes make the phone freeze..
any1 know how to fix this? do have in mind that i've already updated the phone to fix these problems without any luck.. :(

Try updating your nokia software updater, if the bundled pc suite doesnt work try downloading it in the nokia website.
Once the firmware has been upgraded it is not possible for you to revert to the original firmware. The OS still not stable doing hacks to downgrade may cause software failure = dead phone.

what gives?.. why doesn't my phone want to update. everytime I update there's this error that pops up that says computer cannot recognize phone, restart phone and blah blah blah, did anybody else have this problem or did i just do something dumb?.. help me.. pls.. anybody..

I dont see any advantages to upgrade my firmware
the one I worriest about is that the navi sensitivity will decrease is there any way to get the old firmware ? or how to fix this ? waiting 4 ur reply dudes

i update my firmware from 10 to 12 n then i faced 1 prob in my navi wheel then when i m gonna use navi wheel then clock wise its stuck but anticlock wise itz working kool dunt knw wht hppn any idea ?
