hello friends, i m writing from Dhaka. i am intended to buy a n78 because it's very attractive and lucrative from technological sense. the problem is, some comments and notifications on many sited has made me confused abt n78. the conditons are-
1. i want to take good photo at day and night
2. i want to enjoy clear and loud music and sound through headphone and speakers.
3.i want to download and browse through w-lan.
considering the above topics, please answer some questions frankly and logically-
1. is this phone has good picture quality, loud sound and music.
2. is this phone's internet and data transfer rate is acceptable and standard?
3. is it neccesary to update firmware, which problem i could face after updating firmwares?
please ,plz,plz some who already experienced n78 or concerned about the handset , consider the post and answer my post kindly. i can't think about another n-series set for money shortage.
some plz anwar. sorry for broad post.

Hi,
I just got this mobile.. Its really good. but i have a problem with the loudspeaker, when i clicked on loudspeaker when i'm in call, it doesn't seems to change to loudspeaker..
All it say is 'Handset Activated'. but my music are well audible in loudspeakers.. did anyone have this problem.

i bought n78 3 weeks ago and i am very pleased.wi-fi is good ,keypad also.camera during the day takes good picture . in night it isn't good(because it doesn't have xenon flash) in general is a good phone.i also had N 70 an SE k800i.i don't know how to change the firmware.????with the usb cable doesn't work..is a good alternative to n 82 n95 iphone an viewty and it's cheeaper:) hello from ROMANIA!!!

latest firmware is 12.046
You can check your firmware by dialing *#0000# in your phone or by browsing the menu tools>utilities>device manager.

N78 doesn't have accelerometer so it wont auto-rotate.
N79 have this feature but its more expensive than n78,n82.

N78 doesnt have a bad design, it is sleek and unique candy bar phone.
The design cons is the back cover it creaks and wobbles, and light leaks in the side of the keypad.
If your having no problems in your current FW then don't upgrade.

ei! me too! i have no problems with the fw ver11.043 thats why i dont want to update my phone to v12.
and btw, you can use the zooming function for both video and image mode. you'll just have to long press the volume keys! hope this help!
