You can't charge it through micro USB.

I've seen prices from $584 to about $700 at different websites.

Unless you really want an FM transmitter on your phone I wouldn't trade your n82 for a n78

It's up to you. If you have no contentment, then trade your current phone to the newer one.

Online support for N78 is already available in Nokia website more than 1 week ago. I am wondering why this phone is not yet made available.

i have a black N82 and it look almost the same as the black N78. Beside N78 FM Transmitter and new O/S, but lower camera pixel count (3.2 mp).

Is there any reason I should trade my N82 for N78, beside it being newer.

According to nokia, the n81 has the same sound quality as the n91.
However, Nokia also said that the n78 music quality has been beefed up to the level of the n91.
I read the smape review. Indeed, there was a statement saying that n78 was slightly better than n81.
                      This could mean 2 things:
                      1. The n81 is slightly inferior to the n91 in terms of sound quality, or
                      2. The n78 music quality that is slightly higher than even the almighty n91.
Personally, i think that n81 and n91 do have the same audio level. If what smape said is true, then the n78 would dethrone the n91 to become the loudest nokia handset. (Great)

Im not sure when the phone will hit south africa. Maybe june or july. Here in kenya we receive nokia phones 2 months after they are released.
The sound quality is the same as n81/n91.
The camera is much better than the n73. The N78 camera works much quicker, has a faster autofocus lock, saves more detail and records in VGA (MPEG4) format at 15 frames per second.
It should go for around 350 euros (if nokia keep their word).
About the 5310, its volume is average on the speakers, but when it comes to the earphones, sound quality is at a very high level (very close to n81/n91/n78). The sound is crisp and clear with plenty of bass. If compared with an n81, the human ear will find it hard to find a difference in sound quality.

N78's price seems more expensive when compared to the N95-1.

                                    Guys, great news.
The n78 has finally started shipping. Its now available in finland (but at a price of 448 euros). It should be available to europe, asia and africa in a matter of days/weeks.
Oh, by the way jeoffrey fooxx is a fake. Dont fall for the scam.

                                      Hi Dan
Yep im back,im not going to be posting as much as i used to.
I think you should rather wait, maybe NOKIA are still making minor improvements.

Tsepz, youre back. Havent seen your posts of late.
I've decided to get a 5310xm or 5610xm as i wait for this one. I dont know why nokia is taking their sweet time releasing it.
